Letting go has been appearing often to me lately and I realize all resistance is about holding on or owning. Many tricks and methods on this path are good ideas for anyone to reduce suffering. Stop suffering thoughts, rest in awareness, forgive, be grateful, see others as part of you etc. This path is about taking any one of those ideas or all of them and going all the way.
So with letting go, to see reality I get that we have to let go of everything and just writing this post creates fear I think because deeply there is an understanding that it all has to go. Everything.
Any resistance appears has to do with holding on to something. The desire to get out of the resistance has to be let go too. Another is the desire to be enlightened. Let it go, let it all go until you think you can't take it anymore and then let that thought go too. Let go until there is no one there is my take. There is fear.
I realize there is no one to do the letting go but there are feelings of ownership and using feeling of letting go to undo those feelings intuitively seems right.
Comments, complaints, questions and criticisms are always welcomed.

Hey Loverofall, I appreciate your points. It can be a good approach to just find everything and allow yourself to let go of that through feeling the resistance, as long as you are realizing that your deepest desires (for Enlightenment, for happiness, for peace, etc.) ARE being manifest by the letting go. They probably won't look the way we expect on the surface, but they are on the way to becoming fully fulfilled....as long as that is recognized and we are not assuming on some level that we just cannot be fulfilled (because we have to let go) then the process of letting go is one that can complete us. Otherwise, we're just putting stock in another limitation..... They key is that it WILL be fulfilled, but it just won't look the way we expect on the surface. And the fact that it will never look like we think or expect on the surface is always true - except when it isn't.

Seeing through the illusion of someone who can hold on is one way to end clinging. Another is seeing through the illusion that anything can be held on to...everything is temporary and passing...holding on won't make it continue. When the futility of holding on is realized...we stop trying to hold on.
But it is not just holding on (clinging) that causes resistance and suffering...it is repelling to. Clinging and repelling are the two "forces" the ego uses to try to influence a world that is not under control anyway.
