LT__In order for appreciation to occur there would have to be an opposing non-appreciating,which brings comparing ,(thought),into the fray also. and along with it, it's relative- subject/object relationship-which just doesn't exist-purely fictional. These experiences you have are not being denied here, only to whom is the experience happening being questioned?

Yes, drunkenlady, there is the appearance of duality. And that appearance, that story, is actually what allows us to appreciate life. There is no experience at all without a story. I realize that, conceptually, that is your idea of Enlightenment...but Enlightenment is something beyond ideas. And it doesn't negate the relative, but it might as well for all intents and purposes, because it's discovered that the Relative is very much not the limited separate thing that is conceived of by most people....All opposites exist simultaneously....and the recognizing of that brings a pop of concepts, a "Ha!" of joyous appreciation. It is ALWAYS both. And that is why we are free..... Now to recognizing that....because that's the important thing, because that's where we get the benefits....you seem to have a lot of ideas about how life is meaningless.....I would look at those again....
