I presume this thread is about politics. I just ran across a 3 week old video by Bashar. He was asked to comment on the Presidential race between T and H. His answer was short and sweet, less than 30 seconds (the actual answer, it took a while to decide what to answer, a couple of minutes, as "~we~ are not normally allowed to comment on such matters". He did not say who is going to win. {My personal view, of how life and the universe works, nobody knows, yet. We won't know until all the votes are counted. (Of course there are NEWS projections based on statistics). But Bashar basically stuck his neck WAY out, with his answer}. I personally think his answer is significant, so I wanted to somewhat go on the record.
If anyone wants the post, I will double check the exact post title, and give it, so you can search it if you want to see it. I'm constrained from linking it publicly, obviously.
Bashar Prediction on the US Election 2024: (on YouTube)
Also, to be clear, I'm not trying to open up a public conversation.

Fretting about who will be the next president is counterproductive to you (impersonal use here).
You should approach it, as everything, from a constructive perspective, consciously generating unspecific positive expectations about the future, then make your intuitive choices.
There is an infinite number of presents, of pasts, of futures. You only experience or learn about the ones that resonate with you.
Your fear, anger, hate, will cause you to join a probable reality that will cause you more of those.
If Bashar came up with a prediction, it proved Anka's limitations.

As I said, he did not say who is going to win. I get one vote, like everyone. Whatever happens, here, now, I will be in the same boat as everyone else. My view of the "multiverse". We live in living time. The past is done. However, my present experience, my present understanding, can change my whole perspective OF my past history. In that sense, yes, my whole past can change in a second. The future exists as multiple possibilities, this is basically the 6th dimension. In time, I come up to a 4-way stop. I can turn left, I can go straight, I can turn right, I can even make a U-Turn. Those are open possibilities. But then it comes my turn to go. Once I choose a path, it is firmly set in the past, and I have eliminated 3 possibilities, which, in the 6th dimension, could have been thousands of alternative possibilities. I can't go back into the past and change my turn, I can only move forward. I know my circle of influence, it's tiny. What is going to happen is going to happen, my one vote is not going to change anything. Harris, if elected, her circle of influence is vast. Trump, if elected, his circle of influence is vast. No matter what happens to us individually, vast possibilities still exist, unimaginable. Karma means action, doing, what you do. Results and consequences arise from what we do, not from what we think or feel. However, what we think and feel usually results in doing. Sometimes we have only "a cubic centimeter of chance" between thinking-and-feeling, and doing. So you are mostly correct, but not 100% correct, IMO. I experience what actually occurs. But yes, I can suffer, in imagination. It's a terrible terrible suffering, unnecessary. But in the present moment, suffering doesn't exist, pain maybe, but not psychological suffering.

Jon Stewart made some good points. Pouring money into a campaign could make one's political message less effective. A certain party can make all of the contingency plans for losing without actually winning. Sometimes a party will compromise its message to have the other side in an attempt to have the opponent jump on board. Inadvertently they create confusion of intention.
What I think is that trying to win an election is a daunting task. The natural inclination is for people to lean towards oatmeal or what they expect will comfort them in the morning. I understand the hypocrisy of the "responsible ones." But I also understand the hypocrisy of a party trying to promote multiple versions of a truth, when the truth itself does not have sides.

How do these views agree with your views on reality, on what you are, what you do or not do in that light, as for example stated in your last post to me about zd, Christ, children, the now, peace, and such? They don't agree. I believe that that is an important input to you.

Don't remember sharing specifically about Christ in previous share. I don't doubt it. All I have is my memory at the moment. If I were given a chance to reiterate my feelings about this topic, I might say, "I don't know for sure if I am on sure footing. My news source had me believe in pipe dreams. I feel duped. I feel disillusioned. The event, almost two weeks ago, was mispercieved. I was responding to interpretations of realiy but not reality itself. I am questioning my intentions. I don't remember making the decision to be an obedient follower of outside events . I don't remember how I got so involved. All of my participation did not change anything. Feelings of separation from God and reason created a very strong addiction. I felt better projecting that I was part of a movement. Now I do feel grateful as John Lennon wrote, "the dream is over." Title of song is "God." He focuses on the immediacy of his own understanding of things, a kind of mind your business, it's just me and Yoko here.
I don't like confusing entertainment with reality. I guess for a famous person like John, entertainment included grand amounts of hype or social hysteria. The one thing I am grateful for from all of this is that I can do things differently.

The rollercoaster is activated by only hearing what we want to hear. In two years, you might again feel hopeful, then in four perhaps not. If this is your only option then you're trapped by what Kipling's poem called those two imposters, triumph and disaster.

Thanks for mentioning Lennon's "God". It led me to read its lyrics, which led me to the lyrics of "I Am The Walrus". Then, I read about those two songs on songfacts.com, and learned more about their meaning and context.

Thanks. ~*~ “I’ll never forget something John Lennon told me; we were talking about writing, and I had always admired the way he used to cut through so much of the bullshit, just come straight to the point with what he wanted to say.” He added: “He said: [in an uncanny John Lennon impression] ‘It’s very easy — all you have to do is say what you mean, make it rhyme and put a backbeat to it’, and I keep coming back to that principle as a writer.” ~ David Bowie.
