Since returning here I had gotten a V-I-R-U-S alert which I get nowhere else. It says you have visited a website infected with a virus. I just leave and come back. It happened again a sixth time writing this post (has to start over). Just info, does anybody else get this? It's not from my own virus protection.

I'm not getting any popups. I notice the site has banner ads. Sometimes those have shady code that is able to inject a malware popup.
Do you run an older system? It can lead to problems if you browse the internet without an up-to-date browser and operating system.

Just FYI, my own virus protection has started, just this morning, blocking me from this site. It says this is a dangerous site, and just removes me from STs. It has done this about 1 out of 3 times, and then I have to start all over.
As in the previous post, this happens nowhere else.

I'm getting these virus alerts again. They only come from this website, only when I'm on this website. They come from nowhere else. When they come all I can do is turn my computer off. My own virus protection shows nothing, even after a full scan. After today, I'm going to take another vacation. I'll be back December 1.

Installed it years ago, and before I did st was loading my machine big time because of the ad traffic. The banner ads and tracking generate all sorts of third-party messages that you have no other indication than the ad itself. |
