What have you noticed when you do not practice these? (And the flip side, when you do practice?) Can end up getting lost in a noisy world and being thrown hither-tither by circumstances. If the anchor is real, it's like everything happens around you more than they happen to you. In high stress situations when I feel like losing the plot, I like looking at a tree and examining all the little details of it, like maybe there's one brown leaf, Maybe a butterfly, a spot of bark missing, every detail. It prevents me from escalating and brings me back to baseline. Then I can handle the situation without so much stress. Just keep the question in the back of your mind. Look back at the specific post-reference (where I quoted you). You can't really think-it-through, but you can come upon it. After posting this last night, thought of a new Doctor strange analogy thread, without further explanation.
