I decided to make this video and post a thread. We can only experience what we are, a filter, a window, a mirror. Copied from the TED Talk thread, Sept. 11, 2023 1:25 PM.
I've been exploring videos today. This one is pretty cool, eight minutes. Starting college I was anxious to study philosophy. So at age 18 with Philosophy 101 under my belt, I arrived at the following view of how our experience of life works, derived from several philosophers, I followed the process of how perception works, in myself. So I've had this view for 53 years, I've never found any exceptions. This is from the website Kabbalah Explained, I haven't viewed any of their videos previously. For years I tried to dip into Kabbalah, but it always just seemed like goobledygook, and I couldn't enter. Then probably about 25 years ago I found this book God Is A Verb by Rabbi Cooper, that was my entry, it all began to make sense. I thereafter read many books on Kabbalah, I'd probably place it #2 under the Gurdjieff teaching. The film The Matrix is based on this view, picture Neo still inside the Matrix-battery-factory before he was removed. Will make this a thread, We can only experience what we are, what we are is a limiting filter, a window, and a mirror.
