What is the error? There is a prominent view here that the (so-called) SVP can't do anything. This is correct, I've never said otherwise. Actual individuality is not the SVP. ZD maintains that when he acts, it's the Whole acting, the Whole acting in ZD. But why cannot it be said that the individuality of ZD can act? This is the principle in Tai Chi Chuan, 4 ounces can deflect a thousand pounds. This is the principle of the trimtab in-relation-to the rudder in relation to the wheel in relation to the Captain. If individuality can't do anything, then all this, the ordinary manifest universe is just "A tale told by an idiot, sound and fury signifying nothing", let's just say we got IT, when our life says we didn't. This is the principle, love your neighbor as you love yourself. We need to take responsibility for acting, or not-acting. And of course, one can act, ONLY in the present moment.

The SVP can't do anything because it's totally fictitious. What we call "the individual mind/body organism" does whatever it does because it's one-with the infinite unified field of all being. In the same way that the body digests food, the mind thinks thoughts, and this is why sages often suggest that seekers contemplate the functionality of the body. In a very real sense everything is happening automagically all on its own, and if the mind becomes sufficiently silent, this becomes blatantly obvious. We don't have to think a thought in order to scratch an itch, steer an automobile, or do almost any other everyday activity. IOW, the individual and the whole are one and the same because there are no actual boundaries anywhere. The unity of "what is" is not graspable by the mind, but remember, "individuality" is also an idea. Even "oneness" is an idea. The living truth is beyond ideation, but a particular realization is necessary in order for mind to become informed about that. The mind only understands what's going on AFTER the idea of separation, created by thought, is seen to be false. I enjoy telling people that it's impossible to make a mistake because there's nothing (no thing) separate from all that is. For this reason, alone, there is no error.

ZD has one context, except on Tuesdays in a leap year during the second blue moon of a month. Reefs regularly lives in a different context, he posts from it ~all the time~. Well, to his credit, ZD always readily admits that he's a one-dimensional one-trick pony who has only one answer. If you look at it from the extensions of Source perspective again, then the individual is the furthermost extension of Source. And in that sense, the distinction between individual acting or Source acting is superfluous.

Reefs? ZD has one context, except on Tuesdays in a leap year during the second blue moon of a month. Reefs regularly lives in a different context, he posts from it ~all the time~. Well, to his credit, ZD always readily admits that he's a one-dimensional one-trick pony who has only one answer. If you look at it from the extensions of Source perspective again, then the individual is the furthermost extension of Source. And in that sense, the distinction between individual acting or Source acting is superfluous. Yes, that's a point that I thought about making. THIS manifests as every body/mind organism, so whatever a particular human is doing is what THIS is doing. There is no actual separation of any kind, so the only difference is that a SVP is a fictitious idea whereas a human body is actual. We can't touch a SVP, because it's nothing more than a thought structure or story, but we can touch a body. Nevertheless, a human body is THIS, and there is no actual boundary separating a body from the rest of the cosmos. Consequently, as you note, any distinction between an individual body/mind organism acting and Source acting is superfluous (in Zen terms it's like adding legs to a snake).
