Hi, I've just joined this forum, hoping to find and contribute to some interesting discussions. My spiritual journey has spanned the last 15 years, from East to West, from the Bible to the Gita, and the writings of Anthony deMello, Nisargadatta Maheraj, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle and many others, and a special interest in the spirituality of the Enneagram

Welcome to the forum enda! What little I know of the enneagram is fascinating. I would be quite interested to hear what you know about the spirituality of the enneagram if you would want to talk about it. Hi, Thank you all for your welcome. I spent the past 1/2 hour typing a reply on the query about my interest in the Enneagram, and it all just disappeared!! Perhaps there's a message in that for me! Even though I have been working with computers since the early 90s (the dark days of DOS!) this is the first time participating in a discussion forum. And I hope I don't repeat whatever I did to delete this evening's work! The Enneagram played an important part in moving my journey along, because it helped me understand why I saw other people and the world around me the way I did, and why other people saw things differently. This reduced my resistance to change, and opened doors to new ideas. I would love to discuss it with anyone who is interested in it

Hi, welcome to the forum.
You mention the word enneagram.
Is this anything to do with the fourth way teachings?
Please explain about it.

Hey enda, Well, I'm sorry to hear you lost your post, but you a probably right in that there is a message in there somewhere. That aside, I'll look forward to that post when you get inspired again. I would recommend, until you feel like you've gotten the hang of the whole message board thing, to type your responses in a Word document, and then you can just paste the response in at the end. That should prevent anymore frustration of losing all your hard work.... Hi, Thank you all for your welcome. enda, if you use Firefox, you can install Lazarus: Form Recovery which will save your posts from such disasters in the future.

Enda: I know how you feel. I've lost several long posts in the past by accidentally hitting a wrong key. It is very frustrating. I installed Firefox, but it created other problems with my computer. Now, I simply copy what I'm writing as I go along by highlighting the text and using "control c." "Control v" replaces the text if I lose it. It has saved me from having to do rewrites several times. I haven't had this problem on other message boards, but here it is a real problem. I have no idea why.

OMG, karen is a geek! I hope you use Adblock! Only for the last 5 years or so! Hey ZD and others, if Firefox is too much, here's a slick windows tool I've been using for years and year: www.nakka.com/soft/clcl/index_eng.html <-- it saves your last clipboard copies in a cache that survives reboots and such. Plus, I use the template to put my email address and other frequently typed text or images. After install, look for the little paperclip in the system tray.
