What do you think of this connection between "higher Intuition" and "inner guru?" How reliable has your inner guru been? To me, " intuition" means getting knowledge not through your five physical senses, and not through using your intelligence. Adding to it "higher" doesn't seem to mean anything. Intuition is the next step in the evolvement of any individual point of awareness, and follows the progression: instinct, emotion, intellect, intuition. The overwhelming majority of humans have no intuition. That "inner guru" is probably what I call "i nner-guidance", and comes from a non-physical guide who assists you in your process of evolvemnt. He gives you advice all the time, and sometimes you heed it unconsciously, but in most cases you aren't conscious of that guidance and ignore it. Most anybody can learn to tap his subconscious and access his intuition, and to contact his inner-guide and ask questions and receive answers. Intuition is more related to the immediate state of consciousness you're in, while inner-guidance is more related to general knowledge, it isn't everyday advice on what to do. The inner-guidance is very reliable, but you have to be careful because you distort it due to your beliefs, expectations, emotions. You have to be aware of that when you access it, and do everything you can to leave aside all your beliefs, expectations, emotions. The knowledge you receive from your inner-guidance isn't cumulative, but progressive. This means that you don't learn truths, then more truths to build a picture of reality. You learn bits and pieces of the whole picture that make some areas of the picture more and more clear. This is why you might misinterpret some knowledge you get, then realize that only when you get some additional knowledge that puts previous information in a different light. My opinion is that you shouldn't get any knowledge about how things are form any guru or from any dogma, but use those only to find the right way for you to tap your own inner-guidance, and learn only from there. There are many ways to do that. I use self-hypnosis.
