When one realizes who they are, there may be some extreme giddiness or even temptation to consider oneself to be Jesus or some other savior.
From the short biography I've read of Swami on his free ebook, this picture forms in my mind of a wandering long-haired hippie who has used lots and lots of drugs in his travels, maybe even over-indulging in some LSD. LSD is very appealing, I cannot lie (even though I've never tired it), but it has been known to push some people over the edge into a place mentally where they will never return.
There is no doubt in my mind that either through real spiritual work or through drugs that Swami has realized who he is, but he is or was not in a stable condition before this realization and so perhaps it has caused him to believe he is the only one to lead us to union with creation.
I wish I could help him achieve peace of mind. Even though he claims to be mindless, the only thing I see in him is a tortured mind.

Swami Collins act to seems to have gotten real old, real fast. He has been dominating these boards in a nonproductive way and he keeps criticizing others. He has a negative Karma rating of -20. Perhaps it is time to ask Shawn to ban him from this site. Any thoughts?

I know his act can get tiring and he is probably a bit of a turn-off for potential newcomers to this forum. I'm willing to put-up with him because clearly he has some type of emotional disability and I feel sad for him and would really like for him to accept us as his friends but if his mind is too far gone there is nothing I or anyone can do for him except just accept him and love him as he is (i.e. tolerate him).
I really don't think it's his fault that he's like this. It could be paranoid schizophrenia, dementia (he's 70), or any other type of neurological disorder. These things can manifest themselves in any number of ways, including severe anger and rudeness, and might just be mental degeneration, or "senility".
I do worry about the possibility that his posts are keeping potential newcomers from posting to the forum out of fear. But then that would just be part of the old me worrying too much about what others think.
He is challenging but then I like challenges. (I might appear to be a big pushover, and maybe I am, but I like the fella.)

Sophia, I respect your opinion. I agree that Swami does seem to be a damaged person and his semi-incoherent ramblings and writing style do seem to be schizophrenic. As far as his life story of him being 70 and being a homeless wanderer for a while...well, I would take all that with a grain of salt. Maybe some of its true and maybe some of it isn't. Sometimes it is a fine line between trying to help a person who is damaged without unintentionally further enabling/encouraging their damaged behaviors. However, If you think he should still be kept around, I'll go with that. -Morrie

Hi Morrie,
I am not the majority so I will accept the decision of others without judgment. It is everyone's right to avoid negative energy and discord and you guys/gals should feel free to make your own decision without being swayed by my opinion.

Morrie-you got to be REALLY DELUDED if you believe that the "karma" ratings on this or any site have any meaning at all-KARMA is the ANCIENT device put into action by CREATION itself--Your citation of this "pop" blogs use of it reveals how little you know!

Well Karma on this site is purely a measure of popularity, and I think we run a real risk of forcing people to conform to the group opinion if we say that unpopular or critical posters will be excluded. To be fair, exlusion should only be based on breaking the forum "rules" - if they exist. Such as swearing (and IMHO putting stars into a word doesn't stop it being a swear), making slanderous remarks, posting pure Troll-like comments without advancing the discussion, etc. I am a fan of freedom of speech, but you wouldn't invite someone who insults you into your home. I suppose we need to take a line on how much this forum is considered public, and how much it belongs to the people that use it.

Beware of ANY kind of Moderation no matter how innocuous!!Religions are the breeding grounds of Fascism and Dictatorship--always will be-Religious people such as your selves are subject to dismiss the "messiah" as deranged except if you can worship him thus nullifying his message--To ALL of you on these Blogs TRUTHFULNESS is an Insult but TRUTH is a "blessing"-you must choose!

Consider the life of the ONE person who truly is the Messiah--NONE of you here would support or listen to Him because youd be too busy congratulating yourselves as to how you "spotted his Messiah Complex"--You people here find it so easy to dismiss All that you do not understand but when was ANY Messiah understood when he stood naked in the Marketplace and spoke his Message?? www.experientialknowingness.co.ukFEEL THE ENERGY--therein lies the Way

In other words !! What happens if you actually are "the Messiah"(to use your sets of useless words)?? Things get to be a "bit complex" then-when those youve come to "save" reject you and your "teaching" because you dont measure up to their Idea of what you should be like--and your "teaching"is rejected because it is not the strings of Finesounding but MEANINGLESS associated words that you ALL (in your ignorance and inexperience)just KNOW the real Messiah would give to you?? The situation gets more complex by the day And NOW the Authentic voice of Amerikan Fascist Spirituality seeks to BAN Freedom of Speech and Debate and ASSOCIATION!! Shall I look elsewhere??Is that what you really want?? I can go away and do "my thing" with others but is that what you ALL really want??

Because if I go then your rejection(you choose to reject me voluntarily)is binding and forever because I shall NOT come this way again and hold out my hand in Friendship only to be cursed and insulted after I come amongst you innocently speaking words of TRUTHFULNESS -and NOT words of the TRUTH that you all know and believe in.
