I read one of Reshad Feild's books in the '80's, The Last Barrier. I read The Invisible Way when it came out. They were about his Sufi journey, the beginning of it. I chanced upon this video tonight of him beginning a ten day "retreat" with 76 students. It is rather long, one hour, longer than I can usually tolerate. To me it was exceptionally interesting. But there will probably be few here who will listen to it in full, maybe one or two people, maybe none. But I find it very valuable. From the copyright, this may have taken place 2005 or previously. In any case, googling, I found out by chance that he died in 2016. I wrote down some timeframes of some things that might be of interest. At minute 40 there is a quote by a Sufi. He quotes Rumi and Kabir. At minute 45 he discusses an object he had been designing for 20 years. Shown, it has 14 identical shapes surrounding nothing, an object he was told is unique, never invented before. About minute 47:32 he tells a Mullah Nasruddin story, who is a kind of wise fool. If you don't know him, Mullah, the story is worth listening to. At minute 52:50 he discusses ND, although he doesn't use that term, but you will recognize.
I find him genuine. If you know nothing about Sufism, this is a good introduction. Several times he emphasizes the unity of knowledge, which the thinking mind can never arrive at. If you are at all interested in understanding me or my way, this is my ~neighborhood~.
