Hi NBisH, for the time being (and hopefully for life!) I'm married to my roommate. There are a lot of locator services around here where you can find people looking for roommates. Expect to pay 300-600 to get a bedroom in somebody's house or apt, but insist on a month-month. You can use it as a starting plac to upgrade or get on a waiting list for a better place and deal. It's also very reasonable in this area to advertise that you want a "spiritual roommate," and that might make your relocation more harmonious. I'm looking at meeting rooms to set up for a spiritual gathering, hopefully to be lead by one of the leaders of this board who just relocated to the SF Bay Area.

Gathering place at San Francisco Public Library: I found a free and accessible meeting room that sits up to 15 here, and would like to spread the word around to see who's interested so we can discuss details and choose dates.
