I can recommend books by Anthony de Mello. Does anybody else on this board like his work? He is particularly good at little spiritual stories such as in "One Minute Nonsense." Often there is wisdom from "the Master" (who is a generic figure drawn from many different traditions and teachings.) Here is just a one sentence sample: "It is with life as with a tale. It is not how long it is but how good it is that matters."

I confess that I am of an age when I am more comfortable with books than youtube! I particularly enjoyed his books "Sadhana" and "Walking on Water" recently. Anthony de Mello was a Catholic priest and a genuine non-dualist mystic! There are quite a few youtube pieces however. Here is one: www.youtube.com/results?search_query=anthony+de+mello+wake+upBlessings

The Way to Love is quite good (quite psychologically oriented), I could recommend it to virtually anybody. Awareness is quite good. (The story books are good also).
de Mello did these long retreats/seminars that lasted several days. He did not allow them to be filmed or recorded, except for one time. I chanced upon this one about ten years ago while on a vacation/retreat for a week. The people where I stayed had a room in their basement where they allowed people to come for retreat. They were writers, ex-nun, ex-priest (if I recall correctly) and had a newsletter for hermits, their place was in the NC mountains. They supplied supper (dinner) and you were on your own for breakfast and lunch (they had a small refrigerator and food 'stuffs'). They also had a library in the basement. In it I found this series of cassette tapes by de Mello (I had first read him in the early '90's, so knew he was good). They didn't have the beginning tapes, I think they started about tape 4. Listening to them became part of my day. I listened to the rest of the set, which went to 6 or 8, can't remember. I later researched them and found them on DVD, but didn't purchase.
The Way to Love is still on my top 10 all time favorites, it's my give away book (it comes in a pocketbook size, I think now up to $8.00). I recently found a person to give one to, so need to get one.
He died too young...
Found this short excerpt in the links above. edit: The link gives the full 8 parts of the recorded conference. This excerpt is the very beginning of it, the beginning of part 1. (In it he shares his trademark, one of his stories).
