Roccote: Welcome to the board. The Unity Church in Louisville periodically sponsors Byron Katie and other interesting teachers on the path of non-duality. You might check with them about their schedule for 2010. The Unity Church in Nashville also does the same thing. It has brought in Adyashanti, Gangaji, and other well-known teachers during the last few years. There are several Zen groups in Nashville, also, and some of them bring in well-known teachers. The Abbey of Gethsemani is located west of Lexington, and they offer individual and group retreats, and the Furnace Mountain Zen Center, slightly east of Lexington, offers regular retreats (it is a beautiful facility situated at the base of a fantastic mountain bluff.) You might also check the TAT listing for groups in your area. They have one of the most complete lists available. Cheers.
