Someone mentioned to me the name Joe Dispenza recently and how what he teaches is so similar to what A-H teach. I got curious, typed the name into the youtube search field and the first interesting video that came up was an interview with him about the science behind so-called miracle healings:
It's really a good interview, Joe covers a lot of topics that we regularly discuss here as well, and the most interesting thing about his approach is that he's always trying to put it into a scientific framework, which I think makes it look a lot more credible and therefore more digestible to people who either have never heard of this or who are skeptical about this based on their standard social programming.
It turns out that what Joe discovered is that the secret behind those miracle healings is that those people who had them, more or less by accident (at first) stumbled into what A-H call alignment and somehow, after a while, they managed to stay there for longer periods of time. And since Joe is a science guy, he naturally tried to describe it, analyze it and reproduce it. And he actually did. And so what he is basically teaching is alignment, exactly the same way A-H teach it. Now, A-H call their teachings "The Science of Deliberate Creation" but somehow the teaching lacks exactly that - anything that resembles science. Now thanks to Joe's work, it will be clear beyond any doubt that it is indeed a science. A-H sometimes say, teasingly, that what we tend to call miracles is in actuality only the art of normal living. And Joe basically makes a similar point when he explains the mechanics behind those so-called miracle healings.
Here's the part of the video where he describes alignment (without actually using the word):

I got quite into Dispenza in around 2012/2013, probably mentioned him on here at the time. I had a quick look at my history...looks like I posted a good video of his in the 'conspiracies' thread in 2015, on the subject of placebos.
Yeah, he's well worth listening to imo, though I haven't for a while.

Very good story about Joe Dispenza going against 4 doctors advice and healing a severe back injury.
I heard a similar story about 40 years ago. As a young man a guy named Tim Georgehagen did feats of strength, one was lifting a pony on a platform with his back. While he was lifting the pony someone walked the pony off the platform and severely injured his back. He also was advised complicated back surgery, but also declined. He began to study chiropractics and healed his back. He turned it into a career.

Shantam Nityama or his other name Tantric Mongoose he was a student of Osho, he also healed his severe back problems by going within. I am good friends with his student Sasha Cobra. I wouldn't say she is pointing at the silence most sages are pointing at but their take on healing and body work has its place
Like Ian Wolstenholme's wife they were a group of friends the sage Tony Parsons, Ian, Shantam Dheeraj. Ian's partner Anna Moulsdale was a student of Shantam Dheeraj she's recently written a book inside you the twenty four Lights: based on Tibetan healing.
Eckhart once talked of how he had to move to the west coast for the power of now to be written. As soon as he moved back to England the writing would stop. Going back he felt the energy was perfect and the words just fell on to a page.
Anna's book is pointing at this. Being in This but also a place in this world where you feel and be more creative. Im sure I was meant to promote her book on here but forgot to do so. Dheeraj, Tibetan pulse healing, Rinopoches Tibetan pulse healing you can look it up

On Eckhart Tolle feeling he had to move to a place where The Power Of Now needed to be written. Donnas poem. Enjoying the space between the words. Night xx
Empty
When a writer doesn't write and the words just fall
When a child is born and knows nothing at all
When music is heard with no theme to recall
And love is loved for no reason what for
Then you are the dance that's danced in delight
And you are the moon that lights up the night
You are the star that shines forth and bright
And you are the song that sings the sunlight
No harp no flute no string or bow
No notes no keys no chords to show
Your music is made a continuous flow
In all that you do and all that you sow
The harvest is ripe and the gathering is done
The Truth that you are the thread was spun
A thought created a life begun
From a dream awakened a battle won
You know who you are this life without form
The Stillness that brings forth a new dawn
That that you are has now been born
Live Me Love Me I Am Clothed To Be Worn

I'm going to transcribe a little more from the video because this is very basic stuff and it covers a lot of topics.
So Joe wanted to find out the mechanics of those 'miracles' and here's what he has found:
Now that's basically what A-H call connecting with Source Energy. Which means finding ways to get into alignment and then getting really good at it. Which can and does often happen spontaneously but it can be done deliberately as well because it is a perceptual thing, i.e. focus/awareness related.

Today at work I just stopped doing and felt a pull to put Ian out there. And on my videos at work this appeared. I don't know if it's any good or not. But London Real I may have to approach them. Ask if they will interview Ian Wolstenholme
Enjoy

He shows lots of brain scans of his students and explains what is going on day to day when you are stuck in the habbit of negative thoughts. Today, I was part of a Joe Dispenza student’s meditation, it consisted of a group of 30 people, many of whom had attended his week long retreat here in Oz a few weeks ago. A good few had stories to share of how his meditations have healed them. There were a couple who experienced profound ‘healings’. People who were on medication or having trouble walking who were literally healed. Some experienced deep ‘energetic shifts’. Was pretty cool to listen to! I’ve only been a “student” for a couple of weeks, since his live talk, but it is very ‘abe-esque’ and very credible. He showed numerous brain scans of people who meditate and spoke of coherence and being in touch with the devine. I’ve got to say, I’m amazed at how mainstream this is all becoming, 1000 people at a conference meditating together! Listening to technically what is a non-dual message. (They may not all know that though). He is certainly enlightened I’d say and receiving downloads. I’ve been meditating daily since seeing him, which for me is a first.I Joe’s meditations have you focusing on the spaccceee around various parts of your body. Then focusing on an elevated emotion. He also has a blessing of the chakras and a cool breath meditations where you focus on pulling your energy up from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. I’ll let you all know how I go with the meditations.

It’s a great book, although had to put it down a few times, not an easy read but you can study chapter by chapter.

That's classic releasing of resistance and then deeper states of alignment. So in a sense, Joe (like A-H and others) is teaching flow, how to get there and stay there. The entire flow topic also dovetails with what ZD says about sahaja samadhi. And that's what I find interesting about those self-help teachings that actually do work, that in the end, it all boils down to non-volition. And that's where the link to non-duality and other related teachings is.
