He is the teacher who first taught about Ramana in the USA. He teaches Advaita Vedanta, and has published a number of translations of Sanskrit and Tamil spiritual books not available i the west. He has never sought name and fame nor traveled the guru circuit, and is not well known (except at Ramana Ashram).
