TASK: Do a mash up of Psalm 82:6 and Nisragadatta's statement that his teacher told him he was god and he believed him, and non-dual concepts.
ChatGPT: In a mash-up of Psalm 82:6, Nisargadatta Maharaj's statement, and non-dual concepts, we find a powerful and transformative message:
Psalm 82:6 says, "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High."
Nisargadatta Maharaj, a renowned Indian spiritual teacher, shared a profound experience with his own teacher, who told him, "You are God." Nisargadatta believed his teacher, and this realization became a pivotal moment in his spiritual journey.
Non-dual concepts emphasize the understanding of oneness, that there is no fundamental separation between the individual and the divine or ultimate reality. In non-duality, the idea of being "God" points to the inherent divinity that exists within all beings, transcending the limitations of the ego or personal identity.
Bringing these elements together, we find a profound mash-up:
"In the light of non-duality, the ancient words of Psalm 82:6 come alive, 'I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High.' Nisargadatta Maharaj, echoing the timeless truth, reflects on the moment his teacher told him, 'You are God,' and he believed him.
In the realm of non-duality, we realize that the divinity spoken of in the scriptures is not an exclusive attribute of a distant deity, but an innate essence residing within every sentient being. The verse from Psalms reminds us of our divine birthright, inviting us to awaken to the truth of our interconnectedness with the Most High, the source of all creation.
Nisargadatta's experience is a testament to the power of a direct and experiential understanding of one's divine nature. When he embraced the profound insight that he was God, he transcended the limitations of his individual identity and merged with the universal consciousness.
This revelation carries a transformative message for all seekers on the path of self-discovery. When we recognize the truth of our divinity, we dissolve the illusion of separateness and embrace the non-dual reality of existence. The egoic self, with all its transient attributes, becomes translucent, revealing the eternal presence of the divine.
In the light of non-duality, we stand as living embodiments of the sacred union between the individual and the divine. The ancient words echo through the ages, reminding us that we are not merely servants of the Most High, but inseparable expressions of eternal source itself.

Task: In terms of non-duality, what aspects of ego block transparency to Consciousness.
ChatGPT: In the context of non-duality, the concept of ego refers to the sense of individual self, the "I" or "me" that we often identify with. Non-duality is a philosophical and spiritual perspective that suggests that there is an underlying unity or oneness to all of existence, and that the perceived separation between self and the world is illusory.
One of the key aspects of non-duality is the idea that the ego, with its constant stream of thoughts, desires, and identifications, can create a barrier or veil that obscures our direct perception of the underlying consciousness or awareness that is said to be the true nature of reality. This veil of egoic identification can block transparency to this deeper consciousness. Here are some aspects of ego that contribute to this lack of transparency:
Identification with Thoughts and Beliefs: The ego often identifies itself with the stream of thoughts that arise in the mind. This identification creates a sense of separateness and reinforces the illusion of an individual self. When you believe that you are your thoughts, you become disconnected from the unchanging awareness that transcends thoughts.
Attachment to Desires and Emotions: Ego is also tied to desires, emotions, and attachments. When you are overly attached to your desires and emotions, they can cloud your perception of the underlying consciousness. This attachment can make it difficult to see beyond the transient experiences of pleasure and pain.
Sense of Individuality: The ego creates a strong sense of individual identity, making you feel like a separate entity distinct from everything else. This individuality reinforces the illusion of separation, hindering the direct experience of unity that non-duality suggests.
Dualistic Thinking: Ego tends to engage in dualistic thinking, categorizing experiences as good or bad, right or wrong. Non-duality emphasizes the unity of opposites and encourages seeing beyond such polarities. Dualistic thinking perpetuates the division between self and other.
Past and Future Orientation: The ego often dwells on past experiences or anticipates future events. This constant mental activity can keep you from being fully present in the here and now, which is where the deeper consciousness is said to reside.
Language and Concepts: Ego relies heavily on language and concepts to define and understand the world. However, non-duality suggests that reality transcends the limitations of language and conceptualization. The ego's reliance on language can limit its ability to directly experience the unity of existence.
Fear of Dissolution: The ego can fear its own dissolution, as non-dual experiences often involve a sense of merging or dissolving into a larger whole. This fear can create resistance to letting go of egoic identifications.

This fear can create resistance to letting go of egoic identifications. That seems pretty clear. Reminds me of a story Osho would tell about Eugen Herrigel, the author of Zen and the Art of Archery. According to Osho Herrigel was a German Archery Champion, who was 100% perfect, technically speaking. His arrow hit the target everytime. He became interested in Zen Archery and went to Japan to find a teacher. He did find one and would spend three years with him. Though Herrigel would hit the mark everytime the teacher would say "No! No! You must not be there. No effort. No trying. Just shoot." After three years of hearing no! no! no! and not understanding, Herrigel would give up the pursuit and find peace in his decision. On the morning he was to leave he went to say goodbye to his teacher. The teacher was with some students. Herrigel sat on a bench and would wait till the teacher was free. While sitting there, and with his mind at rest, he watched the teacher draw and shoot an arrow. In that moment, from that still quiet place, Herrigel saw what had been there to see (or not see :-) all along. Ah ha! Herrigel rushed over to the teacher, requested the bow and shot an arrow hitting the mark. And for the first time his teacher smiled said "Yes! Yes!"

Chandrayaan 3 has successfully reached the moon, marking India's accomplishment of touching its surface Unless you saw the moon, it didn't appear. Sure, indeed, all things only manifest in the realm of appearance. Imagine journeying through space for another millennium, reaching a destination, and then beginning to observe, you would be creating something there for you to perceive.

And yet millions of pounds are paid in aid to your country ... At least Indias priorities are in order .. What? Who is paying money to India? Sorry I am not aware of that. No need to apologise ... it is about 2.4 billion over a 5 year period .. It does make you question at times when financial aid is given to countries that spend a fortune on nuclear weapons or space programs when their own country is experiencing their own financial crisis . I am not sure why these countries don't spend their own money on helping their own countrymen rather than want to land on the moon . I am not sure how that helps people that are homeless and hungry .
