Awesome! Humor and A.I. is an interesting topic as is creativity. How many jokes or funny youtube clips have A.I. produced so far? The Star Trek authors explored that point quite well in "Next Generation" with Brett Spiner. Conversely, a dead give-away to an SR fakir is a complete absence of any sense of humor when it comes to their person. SR fakir, hehe. Reminds me of an A-H dialog where the questioner shared the observation that Abraham doesn't seem to laugh much. Can you guess their explanation?

Humor requires the dissonance that can only come from physical form? Close! Here's the dialog: I've always thought that the one thing I would perhaps miss about the current physical earth experience is the comedy of it. I fully agree with what Abe said, but I would also say that humour carries an ingredient of folly and perhaps even tragedy. I mean, the truth is that humans are absolutely incredible when it comes to folly. The fact that we would even come vaguely CLOSE to destroying our habitat and environment is off the scale folly! Furthermore, I don't have a problem with Trump like many do, but who in their right mind would allow him anywhere near the red button?! Our collective manifestations are off the scale in their absurdity, and there is a comedy aspect to it that would be absent if we all actually got along sanely. And creating AI robots also strikes me as folly!

I usually laugh when I expect an impossible thing, when I ask it from someone else for example. It's like one part of my mind knows it's not possible but another part acts like not knowing this (kinda an isolated part) and this usually comes funny to me. But maybe I have a weird sense of humor.

Remember what A-H teach about creating your own reality and how one who is in alignment is more powerful than a million who are not. We generally tend to give politicians way too much credit. Also keep in mind that not everyone wants peace on earth. And this planet is big enough to allow such people to have their experiences as well. I guess the challenge we face here is if we can allow others to have their own experiences based on their own choices, no matter how foolish it may seem to us.

Interesting article. One perennial focus of the article is on how plants don't do human things, but rather do remarkable plant things. My thinking toward life is anthropocentric.Yeah.

Folks have to play out their interests, and it is true that some...if not many....are interested in witnessing and experiencing conflict on earth. In this sense, an intensification can be useful, because interest usually burns out when one has had their fill of something. That interest can burn out in many ways....as an example....I doubt folks on this forum are actual advocates of war as such, but it is true that in years gone by, that we have played out our own interest in war on the forum, and I doubt anyone wants to go back to the way things were. That's how I see these past years in the world....they have been years of intensification that precede a kind of birth or rebirth. Even when a mother gives birth, the contractions and process intensifies before the baby is born.

I've just finished reading Maltz (Psycho-Cybernetics) and he has a chapter titled 'More years of life and more life in your years' which is an interesting title. He says that what everyone is really after is basically more life (as in feeling alive). And that's exactly what A-H are talking about when they say that the goals we set are just an excuse for us to have something we can focus upon and then draw life force (they call it pure positive energy - PPE) thru us - which gives us this intoxicating feeling of being fully alive. And so they say for this reason people are more than willing to experience negative emotion over no emotion at all. Because negative emotion means momentum and energy flowing while no emotion means no momentum and no energy flowing. So with that in mind, those seemingly pointless forum altercations suddenly make a lot of sense.

Folks don't generally understand on a conscious level that a fear of death can actually keep you alive. Obviously not indefinitely in the current form, but the Buddhist position is that that very attachment would also form the basis of subsequent rebirth, in perpetuity. Conversely a desire for non-becoming would have the same effect. Otoh, people with a broken heart sometimes just stop, and then they expire.
