Whale Sharks in Oslob, Cebu
Watching of whale sharks in Oslob Cebu is 99% guaranteed. Whale sharks can be seen in a small barangay Tan-awan, which is 10 km away from the center town of Oslob. Whale shark watching in Cebu started last September 2011 and it became popular all over the world when the news hit in the internet last November 2011. By December 2011, local fishermen’s interact with the whale sharks by feeding them that result to flocking of tourist to the beach of Tan-awan. Large numbers of tourists began arriving in Oslob not just to see the whale sharks being fed but also to snorkel or dive with them.

Shrine of Lapu-lapu in Mactan, Cebu  Lapu-Lapu (fl. 1521) was a ruler of Mactan in Visayas. Modern Philippine society regards him as the first Filipino hero because he was the first native to resist Spanish colonization. He is best known for the Battle of Mactan that happened at dawn on April 27, 1521, where he and his soldiers defeated Ferdinand Magellan. The battle ended Magellan's expedition and delayed the Spanish occupation of the islands by over forty years until the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi in 1564. |

The Internationally famous CPDRC dancing inmates. CPRDC means Cebu provincial Rehabilitation and Detention Center. In this photo is Travis Payne, the choreographer of Michael Jackson. With two other dancing mates, they came to Cebu to teach the CPRDC dancing inmates to dance the song This Is It. In only two days, the CPDRC dancing inmates were able to dance it. I was CPDRC`s doctor from May 2006 to January 2012. I was the one who issued the guidelines whom should dance. Also examined and gave them the bill of health from the 1000 out of the 1500.  |
