Your grand sense of humour is appreciated, but Pain must be seen to be understood, not felt. How is pain created? How does one create pain when offended? I am tempted to give you a clue but that would be repulsive to your Intelligence. no not true pain is a illusion completely..when you have a pain and you are still and go deeply into the pain with quiet stillness something very magical happens, it's not there anymore..it never was there, it's false as can be...now we could go into a dialogue on what and why that is but it's again too boring of a subject..it's enough just to know that pain when deeply looked at with a quiet mind does the job.. Besides that are you writing a book? Can we be more accurate? Pain was NEVER THERE? Why did you then imagine pain, when emotional pain is quite real for men and women. Here we are discussing the ROOT of emotional-pain. How is this pain created?

Can we be more accurate? Pain was NEVER THERE? Why did you then imagine pain, when emotional pain is quite real for men and women. Here we are discussing the ROOT of emotional-pain. How is this pain created? Nope, your turn Thank you Brother. I will give it the go... I believe you have been in pain to know what pain feels like YES but you may not be exercising sufficient insight to see how pain is created. Seeing is believing; it comes from understanding ones mechanisms to such an extent BELIEF is no-longer required. No-body who is open enjoys emotional-pain unless they are a ...... which you are obviously not. Opening an closing the Core of our Being creates pain. We are really lucky to have this Forum to delve into ourselves, but there are some who are so full of past pain they cannot help project their contorted consciousness into an open persons Core. When we SEE this opening/closing for what it is... compassion enters and we settle into a deeper level of understanding of the Other person who is in fact our Self.

I probably could have answered this well sure it would have been in a different way before my CC experience where I found beyond any doubt that there never was a personal me. When you know this for a certainly then what is left to feel any kind of pain. Pain may try to get in but to what does it land on? It's like a mirage in the dessert is it not?

Ok a question what is it that you see in me that feels or believes I am in pain? Seriously Bro feel free to share. thanks

Ok a question what is it that you see in me that feels or believes I am in pain? Seriously Bro feel free to share. thanks We are ONLY speaking of E-Pain here. You seem to be filtering and missing some words as you scan the printed word. Its VITAL to become intimately vulnerable if we are going to maturate the seed which is planted in Ignorance by Grace alone. This was/is how the (i) is created, the child-within that grows to become an (I) and fearless, no longer threatened by other adults or circumstances that appear within or without. From within, one experiences the contraction, from without it is called pain. Seeing contraction permits the observer to maturate and control the opening and closing which happens unconsciously in the i which is learning. We learn about our mechanism in this manner. "what is it that you see in me that feels or believes I am in pain?" The above seems kinda clear to me that your i is what the illusion is as the I which you are Knows pain is an illusion. When we see our i's contraction the Observer (I) opens again and again until the Observer has matured.

First though I thought when you ask the question you were speaking about physical pain and that is why I said illusion as I feel it is. I really have no clue about the emotional pain, for example I have my best friend, lover someone that is and has been closer to than anyone. It's my dog. We been together for 13 years he's a fullsize collie. During the last 2 years I seen him go from a very vital, energetic being to now walking with a limp and is on strong pain meds for his pain.Every day my thoughts are with him, I worry if he will make it through another night at times. I absolutely hate the fact that he may go anytime now and I can do nothing about it. I shed my shares of tears at time, while assuring him his dad is always here for you. Do I have emotional pain around this or is it really a deep sadness that comes and goes. I feel it's sadness that comes and goes. I am not obsessed with the idea he will die. I enjoy my time with him. What I just shared is really the only other being I have active in my life where emotions play a big part. I know the sadness is real, even though on one level I know there is not really a me or a dog I am left with a not real me and a not real dog. Anyhow I just shared from my heart. I don't know what else to tell you. I am probably one of the most honest with yourself persons I know or at least try to be. One last thing I know what I am going through now with my dog is also a real gift like awakening is and I do hope to grow with it if possible

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), known colloquially as the Hare Krishna movement or Hare Krishnas, is a Gaudiya Vaishnava Hindu religious organisation. ISKCON was founded in 1966 in New York City by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who is worshipped by followers as Guru and spiritual master. Its core beliefs are based on select traditional Hindu scriptures, particularly the Bhagavad-gītā and the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam. ISKCON says it is a direct descendant of Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya. The appearance of the movement and its culture come from the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, which has had adherents in India since the late 15th century and American and European converts since the early 1900s in North America, and in England in the 1930s.
ISKCON was formed to spread the practice of bhakti yoga, in which those involved (bhaktas) dedicate their thoughts and actions towards pleasing the Supreme Lord, Krishna.ISKCON today is a worldwide confederation of more than 550 centres, including 60 farm communities, some aiming for self-sufficiency, 50 schools, and 90 restaurants. In recent decades the most rapid expansions in membership have been within Eastern Europe (especially since the collapse of the Soviet Union) and India.

My mother had a similar painting to the one on the right she would give incense to it of a morning. My father being Sikh came from an army tradition loved the works of Kabir, Sheikh Farsi, Guru Arjan from the Sikh scriptures the Adi Granth. You've mentioned at times you come from a catholic tradition. Have you ever read the Gospel of Thomas?

What I know of Thomas is that he went to India and established a Christian church in Kerala in Ad 52.
