but of course they are they are all little bits like a computer with all the programing that goes along with it. The sad thing is in the day of so called advanced science we still don't know how to successfully reprogram them or we do but the community keeps it locked up because there is so much money in research A viral software that attack computers was patterned after computer tech watched how a virus, a real one say, Influenza virus, if inoculated into the test subject can be infected ( if not immune ) and disables the test subjects blood circulation, control of body temperature, appetite, etc. One can not re-program an Influenza virus other wise science finds out how to manufacture an anti-viral medicine to kill it. The only way for us to counter an Influenza virus attack is to be vaccinated and become immune to it. It`s the body`s immune system, the lymphocytes/antibodies are the ones to destroy the Influenza virus. That's your story..also to believe in wise science

Micro-organisms don't have independent thought. Though they can be anthropomorphised. How do you know micro organisms have no independent thought? There have been lately known micro organisms developing resistance to antibiotics. If you kill them with say, amoxicillin. They evolve & find a way to resist amoxicillin so they wont be killed the next time around. Because all cells are totally in and of their environment. And adapt to their environment. To say that they have independent thought is to overlook their dependency on the environment that they're in. Introducing an anti-biotic into their environment to break down their cell walls, is the cause of the adaptation. And why there is a global call to find new, more modern anti-biotics. Or halt the overuse of them.

Or halt the overuse of them. The same with micro organisms and humans. We and micro organisms adapt to the environment. If we and micro organisms want to survive in the Amazon we and micro organisms have to act brave and resourceful. This requires independent thought/intelligence. For example. E. histolytica, an amoeba, survives in a wet environment ( trophozoite ) but transforms into cystic form when its habitat becomes dry. This require independent thought/intelligence. Drug resistance takes place because people buy antibiotics over the counter without doctor`s prescription. Micro organisms that survived an antibiotic attack manufactures enzymes that render the antibiotic useless. This doing from drug resistant micro organisms require independent thought/intelligence.

No, it requires the environment/climate/habitat to change. As I said.

No, it requires the environment/climate/habitat to change. As I said. Of course but with independence/intelligence. Ok, let's try it the other way round.. Cells duplicate themselves, in an exact replica. If their environment stays precisely, and consistently the same.. can they prove that they have independent intelligence?

Micro organisms, too, similarly are us inside our bodies which to them are galaxies and universes.. Picture the earth and you in it. You are to the Spirit a microbe. Who thinks this " tiny dot " human being has independent intelligence.
