I am all there is. There is no other truth. Your mind is using faulty logic because you are unconscious of the truth. What I am has nothing to do with mind.

Your mind is using faulty logic because you are unconscious of the truth. What I am has nothing to do with mind. Your mind is what is generating all these posts. That you deny the instrument you use to communicate exists has less to do with personal non existence stuff but your own disconnection with the emotional body. And that's witnessed.

What I can say is that there is only Peace. I cannot describe it. I cannot use logic on it. We can have discussions about it for our amusement. Are you here for any other reason than amusement? It passes the time.

If you meant to say the sentence in question didn't express any logic I understand, and if that's the case it's a great example of something that isn't what it seems to be. Otherwise, as you obviously don't see yourself as either a mathematician, philosopher or seeker, it seems that logical expressions apparently aren't limited to one of those three groups after all. A mathematician proves a truth with logic. Do you think you can use the same approach to discover your true nature? It's not about whether logic can be used to prove truth. It's about whether you employed logic in your explanation. (which I would hesitate to call an explanation of truth)

But if I say to someone, go within, connect with the silence within, is that logical?

That's true, but if we define ego as a dynamic of self referential thought instead of an entity, then that set of thoughts does exist in a way that the snake does not. I agree that nothing that we refer to as the person or ego reincarnates. That's a good point. What I really mean is that in a state of ignorance it is MY ego. But after realising you are not the body then what arises as I and thoughts is no longer my ego. The possessive I disappears. Yes, no problemo with that. Well, I still do have difficulty with that expression. It's not that I have trouble with 'the possessive I' disappearing, just with the idea of mind being destroyed/obliterated. I don't find it appropriate or adequately descriptive for the reason you mention.

You aren't a teacher of truth. You consistently avoid the truth while pretending to embody it. How would you know? Do you know the transcendent truth? I know I can't know what transcends knowledge. You skip that one in advaita class? This is logic 101 dude.

The problem is that you actually employed logic in your statement. It didn't just happen to sound logical. Yes that is a problem which is why we need to be silent. One can point to many things that mind cannot see, and do so without employing logic. We do it all the time here, and as a result often get accused of not being logical.

Coming full circle now, the original premise for this discussion is that the logic which you employed was faulty. Had you not employed logic, there would not be an issue, but you did.
