I watched the video. I hadn't seen him before. One thing, Kiloby speaks as if the thought he describes just appears out of some nebulous thingy, out of nowhere. I'm not surprised as this seems to happen a lot around here. But he is simply wrong to say this thought is only an appearance, now, that it does not exist in the past. The present exists only about three seconds, so by the time you finish a sentence the beginning of the sentence exists in the past. But further than that, the very definition of thought is the replay of a past recording. What Kiloby disregards is the brain which has existed since your birth. How do past thoughts exist? They exist in your neural structure which has existed since your birth. If there was no past thought there would be no present thought, as all thought arises out-of memory stored in the brain.
I'm going to direct amit here.........as I didn't care to go in-to this discussion on another thread.

What I hear him saying is something like: if your third grade teacher hit you with a ruler 50 years ago and something triggered you to suddenly remember it right now, your are having a thought about a past event, but this thought about the past event is occurring to you right here, right now in the present moment.

Well........then that's pretty obvious, and therefore superfluous. I guess I wasted ten minutes.

Says the man who keeps the word pager, on his checklist every time he leaves the house, for how many unnecessary years now?

Non dual Realisation is that state ,which when triggered in A source of knowledge(Unaffected by duality: Universal application)and by practicing that, one learns experienced knowledge. This is called " Anubhava Vedya" Only out of experience with Understanding TIMELESS: KNOWLEDGE will give the understanding for everyone on everything with harmony, instead of Cribbing only proving on to just prove one's own point, which will never be a conclusion out of VALID KNOWLEDGE AT ALL.
