Great to see you still providing pictures from the wee corners of Turkiye. I sometimes imagined Zinny sitting down at the Dardanells, watching big Russian battle ships and stuff while taking a few snaps of cats and seagulls. Stay safe, Sista! |

I have many fond memories hanging out under my neighbors Mimosa tree as a child. There was a big round table beneath it, with cuts of different color granite conjoined making a large 8-cornered compass. I liked to get up on it, and lay down while looking up at these flowers with an occasional bee coming and going. |

Water level was high, and like silk, both days dry, breezy, mostly sunny. Absolute perfection. There's a new park ranger that' we'll have to break in, and they placed some downed trees across the path to the remote beach to discourage wanderings. In vain. |

I will visit Dardanelles soon at vacation and will probably remember your words here : ) But I am so lost in my little worries that I am not aware of the larger world much.
