Yea. Blown away. There is just so much detail in that production. Nothing is unintended. There are no space fillers. Everything is has a reason and is saying something. Wow, really energetic lolz. Of course, the people they're referring to, they don't see themselves that way. Which reminded me of this meme. .. and of course, the fractal-irony of it having a laugh track fits in with the times, even if fractal-self-referential-irony is already passe.

We just don't realise how rebellious we really have to be because even resistance makes us part of what we need to overcome, and that implies something so much more extreme. That singer (Falling in Reverse) has no resistance. It's pure flow.

I just love the band name "Amyl and the Sniffers". That's brilliant.
It has terrible bass tone, the lead solo is bad, she can't sing for nuts, but it's pure magic... it has a spell.
The music video is pretty crude production, but full off little gems.

Australian punk rock? I always liked punk. It' not a very highbrow music genre, but the music is usually very high energy with a distinctive juvenile touch. I think that's where the (magic) spell is. So never mind the lack of skill, hehe.

Steve Vai's "Teeth of the Hydra" is performed on a custom instrument with 3 necks. A 12 string guitar neck fretted on only 1/2 the neck, a 7 string electric guitar neck, and a 4 string bass guitar neck fretted only for the bottom 2 strings. In addition there is vertical set of 13 harp-like strings toward the back of the instrument's body. There are switches, knobs, buttons, tube valves, levers and coloured lights all over the dang thing. Ibanez engineered a highly functional work of art. It's rock god meats Mad Max (yes, meats). Discussing the instrument, Steve Vai said he didn't want a mere novelty, so he needed an accomplished composition to play a spectacular piece of music with it. His analogy was, 'It's kinda like having a 13 inch prick; it's nice to impress your friends, but what are you really going to do with it?' He pulled it off (pun semi-intended). The instrument is quite the novelty, but the piece he plays, while being exceptional quality, as one would expect from Vai, sounds like a regular song.
The second video is a quick run-down of the instrument itself.

an oldie but a goodie You may ask yourself, "What is that beautiful house?" You may ask yourself, "Where does that highway go to?" And you may ask yourself, "Am I right? Am I wrong?" And you may say to yourself, "My God! What have I done?"All those existential questions!
