This looks pretty good. I have seen parts, it's on my list to see. Focus. (The other trailer is better).

The Hummingbird Project is a great movie about time, and people obsessing over quantity of time losing all sense of quality of time (and life).

Green Frontier (Netflix Series) is the story of a detective trying to solve the murder of a group of nuns in the Amazon forest. What at first seems to be a pretty straightforward whodunit winds subtler subtexts together as modernity conflicts with the jungle, the past meets the present, materiality meets spirituality, trust leads to betrayal, and good fights evil (which is which?), both manifest and within the soul of the protagonist. A complex weave of meaning and symbols. Worth a look.

I've got another one, but rather than a movie it's a tv series called 'Devs'. It's a one-off series (so no 2nd series) with a sci-fi vibe, and it's done by that Alex Garland who does some pretty cool stuff. So it's a reasonable production. Basically it posits an entirely deterministic and linear reality and explores that concept, (so part of the fun is seeing what holes you can pick in all that as it goes along!). But it's about what you could 'extrapolate' from that situation with enough horsepower and technical knowhow, and I won't say any more coz it's quite interesting watching it unfold. There's a bit of other intrigue woven in.

A few months ago I watched a very good film about a Vietnam War vet played by Tim Robbins called Jacob's Ladder. It's presently on HBO. I challenge anyone to figure it out while watching. Don't watch a trailer or read anything about it, as it will spoil the whole film. I can't really say much else for the same reason. It's quit bizarre, disjointed. It's one of the most unusual films you will ever see. It's worth a couple of hours if you have HBO, but maybe only if you lived through the Vietnam War. Well, no, we've all been through wars, so anyone could relate. ...It also deals with the subjective nature of time.

'The Critical Drinker'! He showed up in my algorithms about a year ago and have been watching ever since. Excellent Scottish insight.

He has good points, but his diatribe is too long and too bitter to have a chance to reach whoever could make a difference. As far as I could listen, there's just a looong whining about what's wrong. That's not gonna help. People vote with their attention (time / money).

You don't know how against my nature it is to do the LOA stuff

You don't know how against my nature it is to do the LOA stuff (assuming that the mood and the weather are as they are purporting to be) Is the weather bad because of people's mood, or is their mood caused by the weather? After all there were / are those Highlanders, their skirts ...

I'm a sucker for time travel films, I've probably seen over 20, every time travel film I've ever learned about. I saw trailers for a certain film a long time ago, knew it would be good, but forgot about. Tonight I was browsing the cable guide, noticed a time travel film. The film of which I'd seen trailers didn't even cross my mind. I watched Tenet, it's the best time travel film I've ever seen, it's quite extraordinary. It comes on again at 11:00, I'm going to watch it again. I watched the credits, and there it was Tenet, directed by Christopher Nolan, it was the film I'd seen a trailer for probably 10-12 months ago. Seeing the name Christopher Nolan explained why it is so good.
Highly recommended. You have to watch it very carefully or you'll get lost...
