Hi everyone! I am the author of a new book called Aeternus Mystica: The Metaphysical and Spiritual Nature of Reality and the Mystery of Being. As derived through my personal mystical experiences and philosophical contemplations, I describe the metaphysical structure of reality and our place as spiritual beings within the context of that structure. Although a more robust website is currently in the works, right now my book's online page is located at: aeternusmystica.blogspot.comThere is also a Google books preview located here: books.google.com/books?id=oWFvKD9AY58C&lpg=PP1&ots=masUvslXZ_&dq=aeternus%20mystica&pg=PP1#v=onepage&q=&f=false(Hope that link works!) Aeternus Mystica is fairly philosophical in nature, moreso than many popular spirituality books tend to be. Therefore, while it does require a fair bit of critical thinking, I think it is well worth the effort to understand the messages contained within its pages. I hope its ideas will appeal to the interests of the people on these message boards, and that it will help answer many of the "big" questions. Enjoy!

Hi Kesana
I was drawn into responding to your post by your name. "De Angelis" means "From (or concerning) the Messenger" doesn't it? I couldn't work out "ke sana" which could either be Indonesian or Japanese? Either that, or it's an anagram of "Nae Seeking Salad".
I would appreciate a chance to read your material. However, $11.99 seems a little steep to take a punt on a self published 100 page large print (27 lines per page 9" x 6"?) book. If you were to make the PDF available online for, say $2.99 then I'd be right in there.
Also I was ...ambivalent... at the apparent manipulation being used by your Amazon reviewers who all seem to be reviewing many of same books on the same day. I don't know what's going on there, but those people (if there is actually more than one person) are not working independently of each other.
Best Wishes, Peter

Hi, thanks for taking a look at my work! I'll consider your thoughts regarding the price, though I did decide upon that price after looking at other similar works - many of which were more expensive with fewer pages and a smaller overall size (and authors no better known). I also have a coupon code for $2 off available on my website, if the purchase is made through CreateSpace rather than Amazon.com (who won't let us CreateSpace authors make coupons for Amazon). An Ebook version will probably be forthcoming in the future (not on Amazon), since I know some people prefer that (though it drives my eyes crazy! I'm all about integrity in my marketing, and will freely note that those reviewers are a part of a website that, if you send them your PDF, they will review your book. Through this website I don't communicate with the particular reviewers directly, and there is no pressure to give a glowing review (obviously as you can see the first review is merely three stars). The pitfall of this sort of website is that the reviewer who winds up with your PDF may or may not have an interest in spirituality/metaphysics, although they do let you provide a summary of your book so it gets sent to the right person. I also sent promotional, full-length PDFs to people who seemed (from their blogs and whatnot) as though they would be interested in my ideas. I mentioned to these people that I hoped, but did not require, that they might post reviews on Amazon. So some of these people may or may not, and may have already, posted their reviews. In fact, I would not mind sending you a promotional PDF of my book as well My email is available on my website/blog thingie, so if you are interested feel free to contact me. Thanks again for your interest, I really appreciate it!

Hi Kesana, I will email you, but just to note that I'm sure the price is quite reasonable - paper books are expensive to produce. It's just I have a preference for electronic copies unless I'm buying an all time classic that demands permanent shelf space. I can also read PDFs while at work I've gone the same way with DVDS - prefer to spend $2.99 downloading a movie which takes up no physical space rather than $14.99 for something that I'll watch the same number of times and will just gather dust! Thanks for explaining the coincidences around timing and book choices of the reviewers. Also still interested to know the origin of your name? Kind Regards, Peter

Got your email, and will send out the PDF in a minute As toward the origin for my name (that is, obviously it is a pen name that I chose), a lot of times I will hear names in dreams, or have sudden "insights" where names come to me, and this was one of those names that appeared to my mind out of the blue, before I ever wrote or considered writing my book. So at the beginning (and still now) I was just as curious as you regarding the worldly meaning of the name. Deangelis is simple enough, of the angel or messenger, as you mentioned. Kesana I still cannot quite figure out, the best I can find is that "ke sana" means "there" in Indonesian. Interestingly, Kesana and my real name come up with the same "numbers" in name numerology - at least per several online websites.
