Well I'd suggested to Silver privately that she might check out Adyashanti based on what I've read from others of his prescription .. is it to "allow"? or "accept"? or something along those lines? ... anyway, I haven't read anything by him yet. So that wound up with me sending her a copy of "Emptiness Dancing" for Christmas and so we'll both be reading this in the next few weeks, and I'll start a pair of quote/comment threads if anyone else would like to read or re-read along ... .... or just throw food at us or whatever ...  |

I would have loved to do this, I think to purchase the book I'd have to wait for it to be shipped from the states, by the time I receive it you two would have probably finished it. Anyway, I'll look forward to your updates. BTW the impromptu book club is a great idea.

Just started listening to an Adya audiobook .. True Meditation
Attitude is a word that he goes in to, and one which I think is a good pointer
I can see the effects of attitude in myself, here on the forum .. seeing assorted screen names, remembering various comments from them, having the here and now affected by those memories.
Not good. Is difficult to allow spontaneity when the present is clouded by the past.
Attitude has other applications as well.
