^^^^ Top globalist Sir David Attenborough, who last year described humans as a ‘plague on Earth’, has now gone on record in calling for nations of the world to stop sending food aid to starving nations in order to reduce the population of the world...
What started out as a get-well thread for Sir David Attenborough ended up with someone posting how he (David Attenborough) really feels. This is something I wasn't aware of, and am glad that I am now.
It really is like doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons, and proclaiming that some (the poorest / the poorest of the poor) can E.S.A.D. (Eat Sh.it And Die), instead of taking on a grander (the right thing to do sort of thing) stance of launching a plan to see to it that everyone gets an opportunity (seems more important than just some random 'opportunity' to me, but more of a necessity) to get a classical education.

That may not be an appropriate post for a 'get well' thread....
Sir David is a naturalist. His concern is what will become of the Animal Kingdom if human population keeps growing unchecked. 7.1 billion people on the planet, 10 billion by 2050 or thereabouts...
The more 'we' grow in number the more land we take from the natural world for housing, amenities and living space and to provide food. Most deforestation, certainly in the Amazon, has been to produce beef and to grow animal feed for livestock.
More and more species are being pushed to the verge of extinction and they will become extinct if our numbers keep growing.
My reading of Sir David's statement is that we should not make an entire continent 'welfare dependent', but they should practice birth control to the extent that they are able to provide themselves for any children they may have or not have them.
