Hi Astenny, thought I'd move to a new thread so not to pull the other one seriously off topic. Edit: And he SCORES another 42 on the timestamp! BTW, Interesting, and congratulations. Had another 42 moment this morning trying to find an episode of Stargate SG1 - Threads to watch which interested me because it concerns the question of whether or not ascended beings can assist mortals (Daniel spends the episode in an ascended coffee shop). I found it in volume 42. Of course. Even though (as the 3rd to last episode of season 8) it should have been in volume 43. Anyone else got a number popping up for them? Ahh, I'd forgotten that 42 is one of the numbers used in the TV series Lost. Will add that...

I have run across others in the past who have had similar issues with numbers, but I have never experienced it myself. I do tend to have certain subjects pop up from time to time.

Just a thought, but considering how 42 pops up for you so often it might be the universe trying to suggest something to you.

Did an IChing reading on question of why 42 is popping up for me, and got 31 - Influence (with changing lines 1, 4 & 5):

So, after posting about this I happened to catch the Doctor Who episode titled "42."

Ho Ho! It's catching!
Yes, most Dr Who espisodes I've watched on BBC iPlayer have been 42 minutes long (which I took as another synchronicity when I first noticed it) so I suspect that the producers were thinking about telling a story in 'real time' when they named it. Also Douglas Adams was working for the BBC when he wrote Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, so the number may have become part of their culture...
