Yeah that's how it works. My mind talks and it apparently spoke to your mind.

The truth is indeed simple, and ideas can be a huge distraction. I suggest finding the truth first, and then see if it needs any elaboration or embellishment. Well that's just it ZD. Most seekers want the elaboration and embellishment first. I agree. Shiny objects have a way of capturing one's attention.

I think he thinks the answer is 42. I thought you were much further along in grasping the sheer simplicity of the ineffable truth which is beyond all concepts and beliefs. I thought that, despite knowing you were embroiled in the multi layered cake of Gurdjieff's teachings. But now this! These fantasy worlds of so called channelers that have attracted your interest and now seem to dominate the forum which is probably why the forum is dying, make the answer 42 simple in comparison to what these characters say. Give it up. There is no truth to be found here, only shiny trinkets to keep your mind forever amused. Isn't that their agenda? Don't make it yours. The truth is blindingly, ridiculously simple and you are already that truth. You don't need spiritual fantasy worlds to uncover it. You don't need to understand new concepts. You don't need Seth or whoever to tell you what it is. The more you get drawn in by this nonsense, the more trapped you will become in your own mind and the more remote you will become from your own Self. Heed my words. You think you're done, that you've complete the whole journey, that's fine. I know it's not [that] simple. Is there a "future", a "future" that not-now-is? For some. Don't underestimate Maya.

I've read many of these Seth quotes. It's a load of nonsense. And with that unsubstantiated and rather pointless ad hominem attack, he was gone. Deleted his account (because why shut a door when you can slam it) and walked out of their lives...again. Would they ever see him again? Probably. Perhaps next time he'll receive the recognition he craves, and be satisfied. Less probably.

I know that we shall meet again. Perhaps when we do you will be able to tell me what is more important: satisfying one thousand desires or conquering just one." - Samsara, the movie.

The bolded is exactly how I was able to quit smoking, the trick is to watch the urge to smoke as it overcomes you and then intently watch the bodies sensation's as the smoke is inhaled, it took about three months of doing this to finally quit. This process is similar to how over indulgence in alcohol stopped for me, it can be noticed that how you feel inside after drinking is no different than when your not. That was a shock, I may have one drink now and then but no urge for more than one. I printed out your description of nicotine addiction to show my wife, coming from someone else may make a greater impression on her than myself and the fact a pack of smokes is now $9.00 in California.. That's a heck of a sin-tax. Just to add my two cents to the addiction issue; Becoming conscious has the effect of resolving the split mind. One cannot be consciously aware of both the desire to continue the addiction and the desire to end it without exposing mind's game to mind. The game must end because it's kept in play by a clever self deception. No self deception, no game. Ending the game doesn't mean the addiction will end, just the game of pretending to not want what we want. The inner conflict will end, and one comes face to face with one's choice. I agree with you , but the ego then will have to face up to what a liar and phony it is, easier said then done.

Yeah, FGM is a global issue and it may also be more common in your own country than as yet is known. There are some huge movements to educate women and girls, and men, about it. Male circumcision has within it a bonding element that is experienced within all the males of that culture. Though female circumcision doesn't happen from within a comparable vibration. And yeah, we discussed the roots of the word Religion some years back. I remember Beingst and Maxdprophet being involved in it. We eventually uncovered that it can also mean.. respect for perfection. Here is the woman (Manal al Sharif) I heard speak on the radio the other night (http://www.npr.org/2017/06/08/532068532/for-one-saudi-woman-daring-to-drive-was-an-act-of-civil-disobedience ) She wrote a book about her experience that seems to be bringing light to what's going on. I haven't checked it out, but I feel blessed having heard her speak for what was about a 30 minute interview. As far as female circumcision is concerned, it's basically a sexual repression issue taking gross form from generations of patterns cycling in degrading fashion. If the cause of female circumcision is men's desire to enslave them, the correction would be bringing consciousness to the driving forces behind the desire. We may see nukes go off before that movement is allowed. Of course we could then look at the cross resonance in the girls that are being mutilated. How the adult females are shame based compartmentalized to not speak about it is a huge part of the problem. In this sense, Manal seems to be a step in the right direction. FWIW, she did have a surgery to correct the deformity, and is now happily married. Although the global chatter from her book has led her to fear her own freedom when stepping foot in her home country, where her son is. www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/09/saudi-arabia-women-drive-170926190857109.html
