Hey all
I feel a pilgrimidge on the horizon.
I have met many Wester nondual teachers, however I am unaware of any in India.
I'd like a place with at least daily satsangs and I am very sensitive to, and enjoy high doses of Shaktipat.
I really resonate with Ramana Maharshi, however am open to other expressions of Nonduality.
While I resonate with the truth of the need to "do nothing," I don't resonate with teachers who angrily oppose making spiritual effort.
peace!!!

Welcome to the ST.org forum sethie. Please consider an introduction as I'm sure our members would be interested in hearing more about you -- but it is of course entirely optional.

Welcome Sethie: What about Mooji? I think he'd be a fun guy to hang out with, but I'm not sure whether his home base is now London or Portugal. He travels around, so you might catch up with him in India or some other country. I have several past clients who have invited me to India, and one of these days I'd like to hit some of the famous cities and sites there (Varanasi, Delhi, Bodghaya, Arunachala, etc) as well as the hill country of northern India (with the cool narrow-gauge trains).

YouTube is soooo much easier, but if you gotta go you gotta go, I can understand that. I would recommend the Northern hillside, kind of a drag getting there but when you arrive it pretty awesome, just watch out for the monster spiders and killer mosquitoes
