Hi everyone,
my name is Norbert, I'm 38, started my path(s) with Taoism when I was 14 years old (understood literally nothing back then, while nowadays, I think I begin to grasp a bit more... not sure, though).
Went through many shadowy valleys, spiritually speaking (Chaos magick, Thelema, etc), then, a couple of years ago, Huna. Got tired of constant goal-driven living, got disappointed and hurt deeply, deeply because of my expectations -- and arrived at Taoism/Tolle/Balsekar and Western Zen. To my understanding and programming, they go very well together.
I feel at peace now, most of the time. And I know now that going with the flow, non-resistance, acceptance is my way.
Thank you for this forum.
Peace, Norbert

Hi Norbert, welcome to the board. We sort of had an agreement that we wouldn't 'grill' newbies in this section of the site, but well, it's quiet at the moment so could I ask a couple of questions?
Do you have a daily practice now?
Also, when you say your life is "going with the flow, non-resistance and acceptance", how do you reconcile that with the current political/economic situation in the world and apparent erosion of civil liberties?
What made you choose the name 'subtractmenorah'? It sounds quite specific - like removing something Jewish?
Ooops, that's three. Ok, lets complete the square:
What the most interesting / inspiring thing you've come across recently?
Take care and welcome again, Peter
