How did you first come to spirituality? open question for all of you. Why seek beyond your current context into spirituality? things didn't add up, but the intellect offered no relief, as the answers kept changing So you started out seeking to try to make sense of something, a lack of understanding? Do they add up now, or have you given up trying to make things add up?

I had a long reply written on the other thread, but lost it to the void apparently .. so my apologies butterfly, this new setup does have its challenges . disclaimer, a recent tragedy brought about an encounter with an old cousin .. so lets just say, for the next few days, anything I write will be chemically enhanced ..

Hi Butterfly, When you click on the button marked "Quote", it will put the whole contents of the other person's post into your "Create Post" window. Position your cursor at the end of the other person's quote and start typing. Their words will be in that neat little quote box - yours will not. When you're all finished, click the Create Post button on the bottom right. If you're asking how people manage to quote just a short section of a post rather than "repeating the whole thing" then you need to start getting comfortable with the "BBCode" which is the stuff in the square brackets (called tags). So a quote section will start (aka open) with [ quote author="@someone"] and it'll end with [ /quote] All you need to do when you've done what Quinn suggested, is remove the extra bits of the post from between the start and end tags that you don't want. The text that you want to write as your reply goes AFTER the ending (aka closing) [ /quote] tag. PS I put a space there after my square bracket so that you can see it - otherwise it'll become a real quote box. When you do it, don't include that space. thanks again, another question. If i use the message function, does anybody else have acces to what i write that particular person?

thanks again, another question. If i use the message function, does anybody else have acces to what i write that particular person? Hmm, you've not quite got the hang of typing your text after the last [ /quote] tag there.... No, as far as I'm aware no-one else can read your personal messages. I certainly can't, and I'd bet my life Shawn can't either. Well maybe the programmer who coded the database can, but that would be quite an abuse of trust if they were to do that. Oh, and of course the NSA, FBI, CIA and such like, but no change there.

Why seek beyond your current context into spirituality? good questions Topo. 1.0 Death of my Father. 2.0 Seeking is for culling of that which is seeking an understanding of Oneself... the unity vision pure hearts have, when they find themselves born and everyone is Holy, even though most appear to have forgotten.
