Welcome Sushil. I looked you up in Google. I assume (since it matches what you say about yourself) that you wrote this: culturechange.org/industrial_mind.html ? You said "I am seeking help from volunteers in spreading this message far and wide." Sounds like you've got a crusade going on there. Well, voilà, that's me doing some spreading for you.  I'm reading Lierre Keith's The Vegetarian Myth at the moment which is (in part) about how modern grain based farming methods are destroying the environment. There's an interesting idea in the chapter I'm currently on that various species are influencing our development as much as we influence theirs - grains produce opiate like substances (Mmm, cookies) which encourage man to propogate them. An example was given of a man walking through freezing snow to feed his chickens safe in a shed and asking himself who is serving who? Or whom, even. |

Dear Peter,
I want to thank you for the welcome.
You already know a little bit about me. I will add a little more.
I spent a lot of time in solitude during which I learned about "subjective states of mind" and also thought about the destructive impact of consumerist lifestyle. Whatever I learned during these years led me to write my article "Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment". This is the only article I have written in my entire life......It examines the link between "mind" and "social / environmental issues".

Yes the article is indeed quite long.....about 78,000 characters long. I think the maximum limit of characters in a single post here is 60,000.
