ace, can you say this again in some sort of different way? i've got an inkling, but need some more grass for cud-chewing. the inkling tastes good, btw. will have a go... "When I'm not Now or lost to myself, (ego) thats when serving the other returns me to the solution as it brings me together again, back into the All." By serving anothers needs(lets say working as a Nurse-Aide in a Geriatric hosp) this i notices that intuitive-mind gives what is required in the moment and surprises separated ego in action, when 'being Oneself isnt the state of Mind'. By 'serving one re-unites' with the sourse in action... and merges with ones clientelle, the sickly and Hospitals-Staff, leaving Ones 'separated ego state' for dead. Looking at duality and reality, trying to hold the attension in awareness ' and say it as it appears to me is tricky nuts. hoo boy, i'm glad I asked. my inkling turns out to have been just another surfboard daydream. i'm lucky to have a fulltime position doing work that often falls into the service category. get paid for being out of my mind -- but i also get paid for being in it. I suppose the pay part is just happenstance. i like what you say about the tricky nuts stuff. sometimes this can get too heady. Zendancer talks about becoming a man-of-action. Like!

here's another juicy bit from Tom Stine's blog, BTW: If We Are All One, Then Who the Hell Are You? Written on April 14, 2010 by Tom Stine tomstine.com/if-we-are-all-one-then-who-the-hell-are-you/
A big theme in spirituality: we’re all one! No matter what the flavor of spiritual discussion, you’ll bump into something about oneness. And you know, if you are going to believe in something, you might as well believe in oneness. It’s a pretty good concept, as concepts go.
But if we are all one, then who are you? I mean that literally. If there is just The One, as in One Spirit or One Consciousness, no second, no sense of two-ness (that’s what nonduality means, by the way), then is there any sense in which I can talk about a “you” that is not me?
I do see other bodies walking around the world. I talk to other bodies. I have interactions with other bodies. But who is the “you” with whom I am interacting? If there is only One, then you are me. Your consciousness is my consciousness. Your Self is my Self. We are the same. I can even go so far as to say that your thoughts arise from the same place mine do, your body arises from the same place mine does, everything about “you” is the same as “me.” Whatever it is that I am, you are, too.
One means One. I like to call this “radical oneness.” It isn’t a bunch of individuals joined in some collective consciousness or collective state. We aren’t all one in just some special sense. We are One. Same, same, same.
The only question that really matters, then, is if you know this Oneness, through and through, bones to bones. Not think it. Not believe it. But know it. Do you? If not, keep going. You will. It is inevitable because it is the Truth.
Namaste.

It would be better for you to read the book; "Power vs. Force" by Dr. David Hawkins. He explains the levels of consciousness very well. Actually has a chart showing you the levels and if you take the chart and then close your eyes and look deep into your self (meditate) you will see how you have been evolving throught the levels and where your currently at. And you may be at higher levels in certain areas and lower in regards to other lessons of life. This stuff is not explainable with worldly words but all I know is that if you sincerely look within your self, willing to be completely open with what you find and are willing to face the truth of who you are and what you've been, you can move up in levels of consciousness extremely fast. It is not easy and takes a strong will to own up to and take complete responsibility for your every thought, word, and action. The single biggest thing is to forget everything you have ever believed to be true, in other words inquire into every thought in your mind, everything you hear, every belief you've ever had as if your a new born child who came to this planet for the first time right NOW! In other words, know you don't know and then in this state of mind (open) you are able to recieve the truth. You can't be filled with truth if your full of beliefs!

Thank you for the reply. Yeah, I have not-knowing down pat my friend. lol Without commenting on the veracity of Hawkins methods, I don't find them my cup of tea.
When I'm .. here .. now .. residing in perfection, its all good. When I forget that, I brew myself a batch of trouble.

Very good then, all the great spiritual teachers i.e. Lao Tzu, Buddha, Jesus, Krishna, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Shankara, Zoraster, Eckhart Tolle, Anthony DeMello, Chuang Tsu, St. John of the Cross, Osho, and so, so many more all teach at different levels of consciousness, that is why some of them you can really relate to and some you don't as everybody is at different levels and comes to understanding in their own unique way. For me I relate to eastern teachers such as Lao Tzu and Chuang Tsu very well but Osho for me is the bridge I enjoy using to cross over to unconditional love, liberation and bliss.
