I'm not sure if it's even possible to respond to a post I haven't read... Why do you have OCD about it? No but it seems like you might over thinking I might...

Did you actually read the post? Does it sound like I'm responding to a post I haven't read? I'm not sure if it's even possible to respond to a post I haven't read... I'm just saying that we don't actually experience labels and descriptions like 'fields' and dead people. Which is what you seem to be saying you do experience... So you wouldn't need a file name cuz you would remember such a bizarre thing. Do you know that has nothing to do with my reference to a file name?

Greetings.. Nice illustration of the question in the OP, from the scenario #1 perspective: LOL.. It's a belief about what is actually happening.. there's none of that 'illustration' that represents what happens outside the thoughts that choose that interpretation.. 'awareness' doesn't exist prior to 'that' which is possessed of the attribute of 'awareness'.. awareness is a function of 'that which is' that acquires information about self and self's relationship with its environment.. the story shown by the illustration is a belief that redefines the common understanding of awareness to fit a particular belief.. Be well..

I saw a funny bumpersticker this weekend. It read "Militant Agnostic: I don't know, and you don't know either!" Greetings.. LOL.. It's a belief about what is actually happening.. I agree with that. there's none of that 'illustration' that represents what happens outside the thoughts that choose that interpretation.. 'awareness' doesn't exist prior to 'that' which is possessed of the attribute of 'awareness'.. awareness is a function of 'that which is' that acquires information about self and self's relationship with its environment.. But I also think this is a belief. Both are theories established after the fact.

What we 'can' do do is explore what 'is'.. but, if we are attached to beliefs about what 'is', we will be influenced by those beliefs and the exploration will be biased.. to believe in something is to reject something that contradicts the belief, clarity simply observes and applies what actually works.. Be well..

Brother, the process of exploring "what is", even if its from an abiding in stillness, is still a defining/creating/refining or beliefs....only now they are imbued with the clarity of stillness and...."what is".

Well, I can tell you from experience, that that's a REALLY hard one....because its so......clear Belief in non-existence/non-volition might be even harder to let go of and not replace though
