Why did you show this? I figured you had to be joking when you said not to watch it.

yea... is this like one of those monkey traps where a little candy is put into a narrow necked jar so that when the monkey puts its hand in and clenches the candy it can't get it out?
i started watching it but stopped.

I liked it. Ive seen 3 of his clips now and have liked them all. I find him very......magnetic. Actually, 'watchable' is probably a better word. That doesnt mean that I resonate with everything he says, but I pretty much do.

Hm, I don't really see what's so special here. Seem like the same old "just let it go" speech. But, how in actual life to let go, let go of what? It sounds good on paper but in actual experience this instigation cannot but fall on deaf ears, I just end up sitting there like a befuddled moron looking for stuff to let go of and then thinking about how to actually execute this letting go.
Maybe it's that the description needs to be less pictorial (jump off the cliff, die before you die, let go of the cruise ship etc), because as it is I have no idea what he is talking about and how to apply it to actual life.

You made me laugh here question. I did like the video but I also think what you said is very insightful.

This one left a bad taste in my mouth. Well, I told ya not to watch it. Hehe. Yes, the 'bad taste' was the point, or more specifically the depth and power of the surrender. The tears, not the words. Perhaps, at some point, it gets deadly serious. This is very auspicious. Sorry if I lost everybody with that clip.

He seems like a nice guy, but I don't quite get what his message is besides telling everyone they are perfect. Telling someone they are perfect is the last thing I'd want to hear if I'm looking for truth. benjamintsmythe.com/

okay just watched it. i liked it, pretty funny.
on the one hand he's saying a little professional help and meditation might help and on the other hand he's saying basically jump from the cruise ship of your life with a couple cement blocks tied to your feet so you're sure to hit the bottom of the ocean. the latter option is recommended but 'not pleasant.'
i like raw messages like that.
the problem as i see it from the cruise ship, is that because there is no actual cruise ship, there are no railings on which to leap from. or at least this passenger doesn't know where they are. i think i could get the nerve up to make that leap if i could get close. adding the cement blocks is a new wrinkle however -- i didn't know that the jump itself wasn't enough; now you gotta go all the way to the bottom of the ocean. very dark and cold and high pressure and see-through fish with giant fangs!
most of my quest is looking for the edge of the abyss. so many are shouting from freefall but i can't locate where it is the sound is coming from.

most of my quest is looking for the edge of the abyss. so many are shouting from freefall but i can't locate where it is the sound is coming from. I actually think that is a big issue for many, and I really think most who are looking for it would be willing to jump if they could find it. It was a big issue for me in my Eckhart Tolle days. I used to spend most of the day, every day, trying to find it. At about 4 p.m pretty much every day I would find it (or it would find me) and then the next day I would wake in the morning and go through the whole d**n thing again. This particular game came to an end and a whole new hell began following an attunement I received. I was then too busy just....surviving, trying to find just a tiny modicum of peace and ease, to be trying to find edges and throw myself off them. In a funny way, thats what Im still doing, the only difference now is that Ive made peace with the 'just surviving'.
