The human body has seven major organs vital to life: The brain, heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys, and the skin. Without any of these organs, life cannot be sustained. These seven organs work both harmoniously and autonomously much like the seven notes in music . Do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti, and when played together, these seven musical notes emit vibrations that are very soothing to our seven major organs. At the same time, we also have seven Charis that act as "transfer stations" or portals and distribute energy throughout our bodies.
In addition, the seven colors of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Purple), have a eternal calming and very tranquilizing effect upon the human spirit and is very therapeutic as well. Try meditating upon the colors of the rainbow, and see if you don't experience an immediate, euphoric, and almost transcendental state of higher consciousness similar to a day dream, but much more calming to your spirit.
There are also seven "fruits" of the spirit, which correspond to our main emotional characteristic. That is, the attribute of LOVE. They are, Joy, peace, kindness, faith, gentleness, humbleness, and patience. As humans we respond readily and naturally to these attributes, and we are able to clearly and universally identify these characteristics in others as well. While these attributes serve as the core of our emotional balance, they also promote a universal web connecting all life, which in turn effect our seven major organs.
Please consider the following quotes, "peace of mind", and "heart of joy" and even, "it took a lot of gall saying that". Perhaps the other organs of our bodies are not as widely mentioned in connection to these "fruits of the spirit" but bear in mind that our organs all work in harmony and what effects the heart and the mind also effect the whole body, including the seven major organs. That is, from a holistic point of view, when the mind suffers, the body suffers, and when we feel good and have healthy thoughts, our bodies feel healthy as well. It is kind of like how a symphony works together. If one instrument is out of tune, the symphony keeps on playing, but, the melody or purity of the piece being played, is slightly out of tune or non-harmonious. Consider the following: In Chinese medicine, understanding illness is based upon the idea that no single part (or symptom) can be understood except in its relation to the whole. A symptom is therefore not traced back to a cause, but is looked at as a part of a totality. If a person has a complaint or symptom, Chinese medicine wants to know how the symptoms fit into the patients entire being and behavior. Illness is situated in the context of a person’s life and biography (The Web that has no Weaver, Ted Upchuck).
Our emotional state can be seen in the seven layers of our aura, not all people can see auras but most people can feel them, giving birth to the phrase, "good and bad vibrations".
There are also seven, so called, deadly sins, named so because of the destructive negative vibrations these sins have upon our universe. That is, they effect every thing in the universe, including our seven major organs. The seven sins are, pride, anger, jealousy, gluttony, envy,s loath, lust, and greed.
The harmfully effects of these negative vibrations emitted by the human spirit are very obvious and don't require much explanation. However, I will say is that jealousy has been scientifically pr oven to be rotten to the bone, anger wrecks havoc on our whole system and all the seven deadly sins affect humans on a cellular level creating damage to the seven major organs through diseases such as, heart disease, diabetes, kidney and liver damage as well as being a catalyst to cancer and numerous other maladies of the human mental, physical and spiritual body.
Love is the perfect balance of our own emotional/spiritual and physical health. It effects every organ in the body in a positive way and is the common bond of everything in the universe .

Very interesting article. Everything is interconnected, and it is nice getting reminders of this. It's all about BALANCE, some call it "homeostasis", others call it balancing our Yin and Yang. Living life is also about being in tune with all of the various factors that affect us, such as, our feelings (or emotions), our thinking, the environment, other people, our biology, etc.
