Admin please consider allowing members to block another members post on their own individual sign-in, I've seen this feature on the SF 49ers member's board.
It is a waste of time to have to scroll past a 'f ing know it all' post's on every thread and subject everyday.
This board was a magnitude more enjoyable before said ' FKIA' showed up with his little condensing un-original parrot post's.

Perhaps it's a ruthless truth initiation test. He's passed. LOL.

Yes, that feature is available on the Yahoo stock message boards, and I use it all the time. I'll check into it. ZD

Not to drag up an old issue, but what ever happened to this function? I don't see it anymore, and I'd greatly appreciate the ability to use it right now.

Well I suppose if people want to use that sort of functionality, they should have the choice. We did have it previously as you'll read above, so I wonder if it was some sort of technical glitch that removed it. I'll email Shawn and see if he's got time to check it out.

There is a version 5 of the forum software which I will test in a day or so. It has that functionality built in. I don't know why the old code stopped working.

I saw the new software being put up so my timing was bad, but after inspecting things it still doesn't appear to be here. I don't mean to rush anything, just letting people know in case they're busy.

When logged in, you can also click on someone's username and then click the little gear button on the right and choose 'Block.' A number of options are given at that time: - Hide this member's posts.
- Do not let this member start new conversations with me.
- Do not let this member follow me or my activities.
- Block notifications from this member.[
So there's all sorts of fun!

Ah, gotcha. Strange how you have to click their name first, but if it works I'm happy. Sweet deal.
