Did I miss the place on this web site called: "About Us"? I noticed in a few places the use of the personal pronoun "I", but my attempts to figure out who the author of this site is failed to find an adequate answer.
Who is responsible for this site? What is his/her training, background, education, spiritual discipline, agenda etc? This is very important considering the extraordinarily heavy leaning towards the Advaita Tradition,.. which seems to be the ONLY thing considered by the author and the patrons of this site.
There are actually six major different philosophical schools that have their roots in Vedic India. Advaita is just one of them promoted by Sankaracaraya. Although it seems so freeing to fall into the worn out cliche: "You Are That", this solphmoronic attitude was later exposed as being terribly incomplete in regards to understanding the full spectrum of the "Absolute Truth" revealed in the Vedas and later established by great acaryas like Madhavacarya and Ramanujacarya after Sankaracaraya departed.
The obsessive focus on just the Advaita tradition, particularly the way it shows up in the Western word, is an embarrassment to all those who promote it. I have yet to meet anyone who claims to follow the Advaita tradition that doesn't bastardize it into a colossal hoax to justify their own grossly irresponsible sense gratification. In this way they have recklessly abandoned the rigorous principals that are mandatory for those who claim to be followers of Advaita.
If everything gets reduced to just an illusionary world of duality, then why is there so much discussion about that illusion like we see on this web site? This just confirms how far everyone who participates in this dialog have completely failed to transcend the very illusion which Advaita suggests is the only symptom of having successfully attain the advaita state.
As such, all of this just proves both the foolishness of those who engage in this self defeating duplistic behavior, as well as the sophistry that exposes the Advaita tradition as being a philosophically bankrupt tradition that attracts those who are more myopically attached to their own feeble conditioning then in seriously examining what is really going on.
