As from today I've had to log in everytime I've viewed the board. Why has this changed? Surely you want people who haven't registered to be able to view posts.

Yeah this is very strange. If guests can't at least view posts we will never get new members.
Why the sudden lockdown?

My fault. A guest post appeared a couple of days ago and I was changing a setting to prevent that. I reversed the change, so everyone should be able to view the forum. I have no idea why a guest was allowed to post. Perhaps it was a fluke.

If a user deletes his account and the post remains, then the posters account is shown as a guest account aterwards. I noticed this with Robert's account, who deleted and then re-registered his account at least once.
