Hi... Am reading a Thousand Names for Joy. She says "In the apparent world of reality , people are going to see it as a you and a me , but in reality there is ony one. And even that isn't true. " Help please with why only one isn't true. Thanks...

peanut- seeing two as one is acknowledging the same underlying reality in both physical forms. in the end though all physical forms go. it is more difficult to say than to "feel", for me, so it always comes out clunky.

Peanut: We say "One" or "God" or "Reality" or "What is" or "THAT" in order to point it out, but it isn't a thing, so even the word (or idea) "one" is not applicable. "One" can only be distinguished in contrast to that which is "not One," but there is nothing other than _____.

Oneness is a cool word cause it doesn't actually mean one something or even one nothing. It also doesn't mean the joining or unification of parts. It means the absence of all of those thoughts where even 'oneness' loses it's meaning.
