Hi! New to this discussion board and posting in general. Been exposed to the concept of the illusion and although I am draw back into it all the time, I do try to, if not able to awaken, to at less realize it is all unreal. Do you all feel lonely and isolated at times? Like you are the only one playing your own game? I would love to hear how others are handling day to day living, while trying to not get caught up in day to day living. I look forward to reading this board and finding support. Thanks!

Hello swalters, Welcome Do I get lonely like the only one playing my game? Not as much anymore. I would say, just watch the self in action. Let it get involved in whatever is needed, do what is called for, watching how attachment occurs and what happens after. Ask who and what you are. Don't resist normal life. Pay attention, ask questions, be really honest with yourself. Accept grace when it happens. That's about all I could say in general. Welcome

When I was younger I used to love watching the TV series 'Kung Fu' starring David Carradine. When I read your post and thought of loneliness a scene from one of the episodes came to mind. I tried to find a video clip but couldn't. Here are the lines anyway:
"'You sit by yourself grasshopper. What do you think of?' -Master Po 'My mother, my father. Both gone. I am alone.' 'You hear the flock of birds flying overhead? You hear the fish? The beetle?' To all of this the young Caine nods. 'In this crowded place you feel alone. Which of us is the most blind?"
One of my favourite scenes.
