She is a breath of fresh air. I've been reading on her web site for about a year because she is recommended by Scott Kiloby. I use 'resting in awareness' quite often. Have you listened to any of her audios? I love her childlike simplicity. SkyBlue

I can appreciate the abesence of tradition, dogma, etc in her teachings. One other thing, is that she seemed to 'connect the dots' for me with her mantra of "short moments of awareness, repeated many times, until it becomes automatic". Also, lots of free pdf, videos, etc. is nice too. Do you know anyone who has gone to a retreat or done any of the tele-teachings? Anyone else have any feedback? Thanks, Matt

No, I sure don't Matt. Did you see the message board on her web site? You could register there and perhaps ask questions.

Yeah, that forum is pretty slow - coudnt find much. I tried to register and I believe that I couldnt access it unless I had been to one of her 12 Inquiries retreats, as the info seems to be required during registration on the forum. I can totally understand wanting to screen the audience, as forums can get ugly sometimes. Thanks again Skyblue

Hi Matt,
I didn't know of her until your initial post. I went to the site, and her teaching seems very clear. I especially like the "points of view" label. I often though of these as lenses, but hearing someone else point to them as neither good nor bad, but not clear helps cement it for me, so she's already been helpful. Thanks for mentioning her.
I doubt I'll follow her course - I never liked homework - but I think I'll avail myself more to her and the other teacher's downloads.
Thanks again!

I find her teaching very clear, ridded of all things unnecessary. However, one thing that is important is that it is not a teaching to just enjoy intellectually, therefore, there are the "four mainstays": the practice of short moments..., the teachers, the community and the teaching (for free to download). the whole package is important otherwise if one just listens to the teaching, but does not engage in the other 3 mainstays, then it just becomes a set of nice ideas, enjoyable for the intellect but of no real use.
