This is pure mind stuff, ego, so you can disregard it. But it's like looking out the window. Once you get a glimpse of how beautiful it is outside, you can't stop going there, to the window. But it's hard when the kids are yelling and the phone is clanging and the house is a mess, but during respites you go to the window and see how beautiful it is outside. Even the slightest, shortest glimpse is like a sip of cool water on a hot day. So you find time to go to the window. The more you get there, to the window, the more distant the noise inside seems. And then one day you realize there is no window, there is no wall. There is no inside and outside. There is only where you've ever been and there is no noise either only kids being kids and folks being folks, as the birds sing, only life. And you fall in love with it again, like you had before when you were a child.
