.) Some folks think that Jed McKenna is a real person. That I consider as equally stupid, in confusing some character in some book with reality (species truth), as thinking that superman is real. The biblical Jesus Christ is also some Jed McKenna. A character in a book, taken seriously by many for reasons I will explain further.
.) We all need role-models because we learn by example. That's a pedagogical fact nobody can deny.
.) Nobody grows up without having a role-model. Some role-models are easy to deny. That's what chrisitanity is all about. Good role model, if properly applied, and easy to deny.
.) Jed McKenna is THE "double-bind" dude in literature. Even better than Jesus and Captain Ahab.
.) To be able to see and know that certain concepts are made out of "double-binds" is the first step into adulthood, a concept applied by Jed McKenna.
.) Being an adult means: You can see all contradictions all at once without being engaged in them.
.) Being an adult, as a concept Jed McKenna came up with, is the basis of everything real. Not being an adult, nothing is real. That's his overall message.
To be continued...maybe...

.) IF you can see that some play the Jed McKenna role here, like that action-figure that was presented in the Jed McKenna novels, you will see that the nobody-can-overcome-me-because-I'm-enlightened-attitude is just this: a sado/masochisitic game, played by some intellectual sadists, who seem to have nothing better to do.
.) Having nothing better to do but playing an intellectual sado/masochistic game, is considered as: Being a sissy, who is highly underfooked or highly under-messed with.
Any questions left, so far?
