Hello everyone
I just joined the boards and have read some other introductions. I am not really sure what I can say about myself other than I am me. If I was pushed to give a belief system I guess I would say mystic ... but really, although I have studied many "systems and beliefs" (plus a lot of anthropology), I can't really say anything resonates with me other than an inner peace and knowing that is beyond description.
In my daily life I am a nurse who is also studying a Masters of international and community development at the moment. In my spiritual life, I would say I am perceptive ... I hesitate to put on labels of any kind ... there are just times I feel things. As for what happens after this life ... well I feel that things pretty much continue on, perhaps in a fresh body (some days that sounds nice when my old bones ache) ... but for me lives are about experiencing and through experience understanding on a deep level. So I treasure each one, and the experiences they bring, good, bad and indifferent.
So I am here to read and share and experience some more
Nymea

oi! zendancer... a skinless sausage am I.
Welcome Nymea. Mystic i relate to also, having explored the dying process in meditation when i first started~out naively after my Fathers death.(@27 years) Finding words to put on the miraculous when one is undereducated alienated me for many years, from my usual life, that of Fathering my children and earning a living through architecture. With your education, i can see we will have alot to share.
I learnt heaps caring for the aged in the geriatric hospital i chose to work~in when our govt mis~managed the economy and the building trade crashed for a couple of years.
Your perception will serve you well here.

Ex Melbourne, now in Tassie. How about you? WA, where the britz built this Goal @ left, 1830 to hold the Originals (they preceeding them by 60-70,000 years.) and the naughty sailors who drank too much rum. I have been researching the hanging of a handicapped Irish lad (14-15yo) When you visit here, call in.
