Rule number 1: don't listen to anyone on this board--they're all liars (some even admittedly so). That's true, bear, but we still don't give up when we have questions, do we! I like Adya, and from what I've read I think he is, but it gets confusing around here. hehe, your not going to like this .....buut (There is enlightenment but no one to get enlightened ).......

Like duh, I know, but have been reading his book and watching an occasional youtube video of his. I really like his book a lot. I just wanted to know what others thought about him if they thought he was really 'enlightened' or what. Of course he's enlightened, doofus. Like Eckart Tolle. These guys are rockstars on the enlightened circuit. Call it Awakened or whatever. Actually, I prefer 'awakened' to 'enlightened', myself. 'Enlightened' carries with it all the Buddhism baggage. And yes, I'm sure Adya's awakened. I'm convinced he knows WIBIGO, in any event.

Have been reading Falling into Grace sporadically when the opportunity presents itself. Silence actually suggested I look into Adya. I've been grateful to him for that ever since. Not one to go to satsangs, really, but if I ever did, it would be one of his. Oh, yah 'cuz he's in our neighborhood, too.

Yeah, I went to school with surfers, so he's also rather like kin, to me.

I don't not like it, LoL, I keep hanging around here and talking and listening until I'm sure I know exactly where each person is coming from, when it comes to all these terms and phrases. Chill dude.

Sorry, I don't understand what Andrew is saying, probably 3/4 of the time, especially when he's dialoguing with Enigma (whom I don't understand about 1/2 the time), so I can't answer your question. The very term of 'personal enlightenment' seems like an oxymoron, to me, but I don't understand what that has to do with hamsters, sorry.

I'm anything but hyperminding, these days. I am noticing, however, that there is something like a fundamentalist tendency among some prominent members of the board, who speak as though they're the animated bear in the 'Advaitist Trap' video. Runstill's comment reminded me of such, which is why I asked.

The whole fundamentalist meme is a result of some serious hyperminding so yeah, if you're gonna start dousing folks with that bit of toxic NLPee then yer a hamster.
