A news story -- the one about the young actor who died in a fiery crash a couple days ago -- I do and I don't know why I seem fixated on it -- so young, so good looking, had his life goin' on for him, everyone's in shock that knew him -- same as any other death, but how he went was more sensational than some...my son died but I had him cremated, which horror has faded but not entirely.
So, with every news show, we see 50 + ways in which to die, and it's all around us -- the thought crossed my mind what a horrible time to die near the biggest holidays of the year -- people on that train in NYC too - 4 of 'em -- how horrible that they should die this time of year.
I mean, what was it with all those gurus and seemingly magical people way back when -- was it that they were aliens that stopped in on planet earth to impress the yokels or even help them some how, or what? Were they humans who just chose to defy death by coming up with these tricks or real magic or ways of thinking about things to assuage their fears about dying and gain a little notoriety?
Are we here, talking about all this stuff and it's just another fabulous way that we've found to whistle in the dark?

Life and apparent death are playing out in every moment in the form of that which changes... The appearance of Death and dying is as natural as breathing. The Me likes to affirm it's reality though by sensationalizing the apparent death of other separate persons... Can you imagine the uproar on the news if it was reported that Nobdody ever apparently dies...
